They requested (in writing) that I drop off an apartment application in person. I took off from work and stood outside their office until 9:30. No one showed up. It was 17 degrees.
I setup an appointment to look at the apartment, but -- oops -- the office staff forgot to tell the building manager. So, again, I ended up standing outside for 1/2 hour waiting for an appointment that didn't exist.
I waited 8 weeks to see the apartment. Every week they told me it wasn't ready. They also told me the rent was $750. In January they rented it to someone else without ever showing it to me. Oh, and they lowered the rent for him to $720.
I haven't witnessed such blatant discrimination in my life. They city attorney's are very interested in this case.
