We took our kids to see this, the oldest only 8 yrs old and they loved it. The don't allow infants though so our baby had to stay with her grandma. This is a great experience ...

Underwhelming 10/21/2018

The boat ride out to the submarine was more exciting than the submarine ride itself. Not much to see, except some fish, a turtle, an eel and a couple of sunken ships that were placed there. No coral, only a sandy bottom, The driver of the sub was engaging, though, tried to make it more exciting than it was. more

Undersea adventure 12/29/2005

We took our kids to see this, the oldest only 8 yrs old and they loved it. The don't allow infants though so our baby had to stay with her grandma. This is a great experience for kids and adults alike. The tour guide talked throughout and was very knowledgable about the different creatures we saw. We weren't really sure we would be able to see any fish, but were fortunate enough to see some turtles and fish. This is a great real experience for kids and adults though very pricey. more

Great experience @ Atlantis Sub! 10/20/2005

Atlantis Submarines Hawaii provides you a great experience for a real underwater adventure in Hawaii. (except from scuba diving). First ,you will take a shuttle boat out to the actual submarine and then you board the sub. The Atlantis Submarine will take you down underwater around 150-feet. They will show you a shipwreck and a wrecked plane. You can also see coral and sea lifes such as sharks, sea turtles and many kind of fishes. It's a great experience. I would recommend you and your family to go there. it's great for your kids so that they can learn more about undersea adventures and sea animals. Prices start at $54 for adults and $36 for children. Tips: Try to find discount coupons from tourist guidebook. more

The best birthday gift 10/17/2005

We decided that my daughter had plenty of toys so this year for her 6th birthday we took her on the Atlantis submarine. I knew she would have a good time being the animal lover that she is, but I was skeptical about how much my husband and I would enjoy it. It was FANTASTIC. It really is something you must do once in your life. The "captain" was fun, and our guide was knowledgable about all of the creatures of the sea. We were able to see sharks, turtles and all kinds of fish! My daughter is still talking about it months later! more

Atlantis Submarines 8/7/2005

This particular tourist activity is one of a kind. The ride takes you to a different world. You will practically see marine life in the wild. Also very educational and informative. The kids will love it, but infants are not allowed. Altogether, this activity is a bit on the expensive side. I suggest looking for discount coupons in the magazines and specials in the newspapers. more

Get down 100' off Waikiki in a real Sub 7/10/2005

This isn't the fake Disneyland submarine ride on tracks. This is the real thing. It can be very expensive during high tourist season, but you can usually find coupons for discounts in the tourist magazines found in Waikiki. Tours take off every hour all day 7 days a week. You will probably see turtles, lots of tropical fish, maybe a shark, eel, octopus, dolphins, and during the winter- Whales. This is a great experience for all ages as you can talk about what you are seeing. No babies are allowed though. I was worried about getting scared & feeling trapped, but it was just like riding a really cool bus for about 30 minutes but we went down over 100' deep. Really a neat experience. more
