When I first moved to Delrico,Fl aka Deltona.fl we stupidly went to Ashley????s appliance store and bought front load washer and dryer with pedestals,they lasted 2 years,sold us lemons,called they said those were recalled,but would not do anything about repairing washer,and called Maytag they said it needed Mother board,but would cost us $500 or more,and could not guarantee it would work,so got shaft from Atchley????s and Maytag,had to go out and buy new appliances. Now bought other appliances from Sears,they are going to Hell cause they use sub contractors such as Ashley????s repair,cause appliance store went out business,thank god,but still have rotten appliance repair co in orange city,Fl,now lost$ 1,034 Dollars Worth food cause refrigator we bought from Sears send out sub contractors to repair ref,sent Anthony out two weeks ago cause ref was getting little warm and not making lot ice,said needed part had to order part waited two weeks,he finally came Wednesday afternoon,cause he was starting vacation on Thursday,and we had Doctors appt that day,he did not stay to see if everything was alright,ref still was not making ice and ref felt to warm,but book said wait twenty four hours to regulate after being serviced,so left yesterday to go to Doctors which is 80 miles away,cause Doctors and Hospitals here are Doctors andHospitals of death,when we got home ref warmer and no ice all my food ruined,still no ice,called Sears 1800 number,got some foreign lady could not understand,husband talked to her,she said it went into Demo mode she told him how to reset it and wait till fri morning,still hot and no ice,called Ashley????s said can????t come out till Monday,what we supposed to do till then,called Sears,said got no other company in area,figured reject areas here,shouldnever moved to horrible area in our life,terrible people,now got to find repair company on our own,god help us all reject companies here,place rots not like living in Brevard county so beaches for25 yrs no problems,but came back to rotten Fl in 05 and beach got way to expensive,so moved to Delrico,akaDeltona,Fl please god get us out already killed my son from hospital in Sanford,Fl almost killed myself and husband,and neighbors rot,hole area bunch foreigners and rude anti- social people,no one cares,about you just take your money and run. more

we had a GE Profile side by side refrigerator that was not cooling properly. We called Atchley appliance service to come look at it. The repairman was very nice looked at the appliance and said he would order a control board on June 1st installed on June 8th. Thought the problem was fixed. Couple weeks went by same problem occurred came back ordered a thermistor. part ordered June 30th installed July 7th. Again we thought the problem was repaired.August 10th same problem. since it had been a little over thirty days another service call was charged. A fan part was ordered then installed. couple days later. It is now August 30th and you guessed it same problem. After over four hundred dollars spent and numerous service calls the refrigerator is still not repaired.I will be calling Atchley tomorrow not for service but to ask for a refund and to let them know we bought today a new Whirpool refrigerator from Sears.\r Dissatisfied Customer... more

This place has scammed us. We brought in 2 window air units to have the cords replaced. They took $45.00 for labor up front for both units. Then told us the cords would not cost much. They called us and said a brand new cord would be $80.00 a piece. Used cords $40.00 a piece. Said they would have to order them from Jacksonville. We went with the $40.00 used ones. We went to ppick k them up and they additionally charge another $45.00 for labor. We had to purchase or not get the units back. We call lowes and the cords are there for $15.95! New!\r We are on our way home with the units- a note attached- customer refused cleaning. Ya, for $60.00 more a piece.\r We are now afrId they will not work. Will let you know if they do not. They worked before the cords were chewed by our puppies.\r \r We do not recommend this company..... more

If I could give them a (-10), that's what this company deserve. There is no professionalism, empathy or customer service. Rudeness is this company's strategy for service. Technicians don't have the knowledge to fix appliances and the company the ability to order parts in a reasonable amount of time. There are complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, FTC. I read old reviews from 4 years ago and it was the exact problem I encountered with them. Back order parts (only for them), you call other places and parts are available. You will regret calling this company for services. more

I have had the pleasure to used Atchleys 2 different times to repair an older large refrigerator unit. Both times Jerry was on time and resolved the issue very quickly with no concerns for any price gouging!\r I would recommend their repair service highly!!! 5 Terry Stars!! more

No Problems Here 4/29/2012

It seems others have had issues with this company however my wife and I have had a perfect experience with them the three times we dealt with them in two months. They were polite and able to order us a part for our old dishwasher we tried to fix, well it didn't help the dishwasher so we went up and gave them the old one. We then were having a hard time installing the new dishwasher and one of their technicians actually tried to help us set it up over the phone to save us money but well we're not that skilled so we had him come out to hook it up properly. He arrived on time, was pleasant to deal with and he got our dishwasher working flawlessly. 5 stars here from us, no question about it, we'll deal with them again should the need arise. more

Worst service ever 8/12/2010

After 2 trips and $300 spent to fix a 3 year old LG refrigerator it still does not work. Tech Jerry told me to call him in the morning if I had any more problems. I called at 8:00 AM when they opened and let the service department know the refrigerator stopped working 3 hours after Jerry left. I was told they would let him know would get back to me. Not hearing by 1:00pm I called again and was told they let Jerry know already and there was nothing they could do. Finally at 4:30 PM Jerry called to say he was on his way over. He was there 10 minutes and could not find what was wrong and asked me to give until tomorrow to figure out what was wrong. I am sure he just wanted to go home since it was almost 5:00pm. Well I am on my 2nd tomorrow and nothing from anyone. $300 spent and the LG refrigerator is not fixed. Atchley's 24 hour warranty for the service call is over. So much for Atchleys' service. I would advise everyone to stay as far away from Atchleys service or products they sell in their story. Very poor business practices. more

Horrible Service 2/13/2009

I went in because my washer was broken, and I had to decide if it were worth fixing or just to buy new since it's a $1200 machine. The first person I talked to was very helpful, and indicated it was probably still under warranty. I called back with my information so they could order the parts, and was told that the parts were backordered with no ETA (minimum of 2 weeks, but implied it could be much longer by stating there were parts backordered into 2010). I called whirlpool today to see if they could do anything - I have 7 kids and NEED my washer! I was leaning towards buying a new one since it could be so long. They told me parts are available, they just needed to be ordered, so no need to spend $1200 more on new, or $450 on the used one Atchley had. Pros: local to me Cons: shady practices more

52" Mitsubishi DLP TV is great. Service is not as good. Lamp burnt out after 1yr 2months as expected. We have a 5 yr extended warranty(paid $500 extra) Lamp went out on Saturday, could not even get a warranty claim started until monday. Then after warraty claim was started, was told by Atchley, that tv would not be fixed for another 2 to 3 days. So I paid 4000.00 for a tv that I will not be able to watch for 4 to 5 days. If you buy somthing and it breaks or you need service don't expect it for at least 2 to 3 days or even longer if it breaks on the weekend. more

Scammers 11/28/2006

They tried to pass off a scratch and dent Refrigerator for new and I caught them when they deliver it and they sold my tv stand after I paid for it and came back to get it and it was gone. Plus most serious I caught them with price changing for a lower price to a high price and then claiming it was a sale. real scammers BEWARE more

My husband and I had the most amazing shopping experience at this Atchley Appliance store. It was about two years ago when we were building our new home and we wanted a few new appliances. We shopped around for weeks and once we went to Atchley we didn't go anywhere else. They gave us great deals and worked with us so that we had exactly what we wanted. This is the appliance store for me. I'll never go anywhere else to buy appliances. Everyone working in the store was so extremely helpful.
