We have taken many of our pets here and we love them. We never wait any extended amount of time, the front office staff is awesome and the vets are great and really very candid when talking about options and cost which is a very real issue for some patients. more

we have been going to aston vet for 20 years. they are the best. everyone is so friendly, the the care is excellent. we are especially fond of dr. B. she make you feel that you are part of her family. we also board our pet here when we go on vacation. you can be sure your pet is in good hands. more

I thinkk way Differently , i think that the hospital is amazing , because i whent their with my Aunt Nancy for her dog , (White German Sheperd mixed with Siberian Husky , ) The dog was in poor shape he had 3 seishers , and kept on falling down , the dog was 11 years old , His name was felaney , and the doctor gave the dog a medicine that he had to take for the next two weeks , So she gave it too him , and he was cured , But unfortianutley , a monthe later shse had to put him down cause she felt like he was sufering : ( . My cats, born in 1991, have only been to this vet. They are\r wonderful. Dr. Murphy is wonderful with my animals and I trust her words and advice always. From the day I got my 2 cats, Aston Vet is the only place I have taken them. In 2009 one of the cats had a stroke and was put to sleep. Once again, Dr. Murphy was wonderful, patient and kind to us. It was one of the worst days of my life but she did everything possible to help us through the ordeal. I have no experience with their boarding/kennel but highly recommend them in the care of your pets. Especially Dr. Murphy. more

We have been taking our 100+ lb. collie mix to Aston Vet for 3 years now. The doctors are caring, professional, and thorough. We have had some problems with the kennel not following our instructions, and our dog Jack has come back sick and with a very minor injury before which could be attributed to his size. Overall, a good vet. more

I brought a new puppy into our family recently. My other dog passed away about 3 yrs ago. Aston vet used to be Ok. Now they are all about money. I had him fixed, I was presented a form with a bunch of choices for additional service, such as micro chipping and a few other things. I signed off on per op blood work( which they did not get back until after the operation) and TOLD THEM NOT TO GIVE a certain vaccine. They gave me a price and when i picked him up, the price change upward of over two dollars!! Then i was told that the booster for the vac was included in the $100 the vax cost. So when i took him back, they wanted an additional $100! I never consented in the first place. the surgery was done very poorly, the stitching was awful sloppy and they gave him a cone that he had to where for 2 wks. My family is full of doctors, so i know that it could have been done a whole lot better. Never again. He aslo had an ear infection, that they only gave me ear cleaner for. So i guess it will more

What they dont tell you about when you board your pets. I had brought my dog into Aston to have a pre boarding exam and thought that the staff was great, but when I got home and talked to one of my neighbors who had worked there a long time ago they were telling me that the board animals in the basement if they dont have enough cages up in the kennel area. Are you serious you are paying alot of money and your dog gets put in the basement if there isnt enough room in the kennel after that I decided to go somewhere else where I knew that my dog would be in a climate controlled area and wasnt going to be put in the basement if there wasnt enough cages. They are all about the money and dont care where the animals go in the kennel. more

Aston Veterinary Hospital is very dear to me. They saved my dogs life at least 3 different times. Thanks to them, my dog lived for 15 (almost 16) years. They know what they are doing, and how o help. Thank you. more

I just hated going here. I went here when I had a dog, and they weren't all that nice, and half the time I felt like they weren't giving my pet the attention she deserved. I have since found a better vet more

I've bounced around to a couple of different vets but none have been as consistently caring and knowledgeable as this group. Prices are reasonable and I've often gone back to follow-up or ask questions because my 11 year dalmatian is like my first born. They're always willing to answer questions and have reviewed the case or seen him again as a follow-up at no additional charge to mostly to appease his parents, to be sure that he was doing well.Boarding has always been avg cost and a good experience.Seriously they've been wonderful and I'd recommend them to anyone. more

Aston Vet was recommended by my dental hygenist when I first moved to the area b/c they were so great when her dog had cancer, and I definately agree! I have three small dogs (under 5 pounds), and smaller dogs require a gental touch, which all the vets and assistants definately have. None of my dogs are scared to go there and whether they are there for surgery, shots, or check-ups, I am always impresses by their professionalism. more

As far as I'm concerned Aston Vet is one of the worst places you could possibly take your pet if you're looking for a kennel! My boyfriend took his dalmation there when he went away, and when he returned he found a gaping wound on the top of his poor dog's head! Here, whoever was taking care of his dalmation, put him in a crate much too small for his size! Anytime the dog stood up, he would scrape his head across the top of the cage. He was also under fed, and not in good shape. Ever since then Aston vet has been sucking up majorly to keep my boyfriend's business. The people there are also kind of cocky and rude at times. PROS: NONE!!!!!!! CONS: rude, terrible kennel, obviously under qualified staff members more

This veterinary hospital is the best. I have been to many vets before but this is by far the best. They truly love the animals they work. If your animal is sick they will call many times to check up on them as they really care. more

I recommend this veterinary hospital because it is the most thorough in the Delaware County, PA region. Expensive but worth it. I was an employee there for roughly 6 months and saw first hand the quality treatment of their client's pets. I was impressed with every care and pre-caution they took to make sure the animal's health was well cared for. They specialize not only in regular animal health, but also have a surgery hospital as well as 8 veterinarians on staff in addition to boarding facilities. PROS: Surgery, Boarding options CONS: Very professional - can come across as impersonal. more

I have taken my cats to this vet for two years now, and have been very pleased. They also micro-chipped my dog because his regular vet doesn't provide this service. The only problem I have had is that after declawing my cats, my cats walk more stiffly, which I'm not sure is normal at all vets. However, I have never had a problem with them otherwise, and they have won awards for cleanliness. I have been very pleased overall. PROS: Clean, Friendly, Easy to make fast Appt.
