Just Istanbul 10/13/2011

Last week i visited Istanbul that i want to say taht is a splendit city. We arranged a half day morning Bosphorus with Dolmabahce Palace tour from this site and they did a good job. We were picked up from our hotel in the morning at they arrived at the exact hour they give me. I loved that because i don’t like to wait. It was a relaxing cruise on the Bosphorus and the view and all the beauties are worth to see It is the only place where to see the Asia and the Europe in the same time J you must do this cruise on the sun set. After this lovely cruise we wisited The Dolmabahce Palace... wow... it is an amasing palace with such luxary inside. The Ottoman Sultans had spent a lot of money to built it All the trip was very lovely. Thank you for this unforgetable short tour... more

Amazing service and prices 4/1/2010

I've never used a travel agent before because I've always thought that everything can be done online. However, we only have 3 weeks to plan a 2-month trip around Asia with multiple destinations. We stopped by AA travel first and was annoyed at how they were running their business and surprised at how messy it was in their office(how will they find our paperwork and passport??) (review in detail later) and on our way back to our car, saw Asia travel. I'm so glad we stopped by! I LOVE Robert Ha. He's really helpful and friendly and he'll try to give you the best price he can find. Honestly, when I'm spending all these $$ and entrusting someone with my passport and visa applications, i want someone that I can trust and who looks reliable. He found us a great price for our 5 country trip and took care of our visa applications to China. The visa fee he charged us was also cheaper than other travel agencies we've talked to. I also told him that I needed other visas so he worked with me to make sure I have everything I needed from him for my next visa application. I was going to book tours in China, but, he got really busy and sent me to this other agent that I didn't like very much (could be the one that the other lady was talking about) so we might just do that online. I'm going to use them from now on. I can't believe that for 6 different flights to Asia and back to seattle, we only paid $1800. That's really cheap considering they're all over East and SE Asia including Japan, which is really expensive. All I can say is that I'm really relieved that we booked our flights, happy that I gave my business to a good person who provides good service and calm that someone who seems trustworthy is handling my travel documents. more

NOT a travel agency - Maybe an airfare broker 11/21/2006

I called Asia travel to get help planning a 2 and a half week trip to Japan and Beijing in March. The agent I got was a little confused because I'm going directly north to stay with my daughter when I arrive and wanted a hotel 3 in Tokyo days after I arrived instead of the day I arrive. When I did want help finding a hotel in Tokyo, she was going to put me in Narita, which is where the airport is - about 40 minutes from the city of Tokyo. (I was in Tokyo once in 1984 - I'm not an expert on Japan.) I told her that next I wanted to go to Kyoto. She asked me to spell Kyoto. I asked her if she had heard of Kyoto and she said yes, but still needed me to spell it because there were many towns in Japan and she wanted to make sure she booked for the correct town. OK, I was patient, I spelled it. Then I told her I wanted to go to Hiroshima. I spelled it. Then she asked me to spell it again. I asked her if she had heard of it. "No", she said. "There are many places in Japan and I have not heard of them all". I mentioned that it was the place where America had dropped the first atomic bomb during WWII. She just said she had not heard of the town. I told her that I needed to talk to another travel agency since I was looking for actual help and advice to plan my trip. Maybe if you know (and can spell) exactly where you are going they can get great airfare. I would not call them a travel agency, maybe an airfare broker. The agent had an Asian accent and I assume she was originally from Asia. I understand that Asia is a large place. However I DO expect a place called "Asia Travel" to know some major cities in Japan. more

Great Prices on Tickets 8/20/2005

This Chinatown travel agency has helped me in the past when buying low-cost international tickets. The staff is friendly, and they are able to communite in many languages. They are prompt and answered all of my questions about buying a complicated itinerary and got me a great price on a plane fare - beating other agents by at least 15% after-tax. If you're heading to Asia, these are the people to see. more
