Do NOT use Ashes Away. The Better Business Bureau has given Ashes Away an "F" rating. I wish I had known that before we used them. The website looked very nice. The owner seemed very knowledgeable when we spoke on the phone. However, the first time we used our Gas Log Fireplace after Ashes Away "fixed" it, the fireplace shut down after 15 minutes of use and we could not relight the pilot light. The owner scheduled an appointment to fix the problem, but NEVER showed up or called. We left numerous messages, but they were never returned. He did answer his phone at one point, made some excuses, made another appointment, but once again...NEVER showed. Save yourself some time, money, and aggrivation and use some other company. 2/20/10
