Armand Newman Dermatology

This was the worst doctor experience I've had. This man was so rude, demeaning, and arrogant. As a new patient I had to wait in the office lobby for over two hours only to not have my concerns for the visit addressed. He over charged my credit card when i have a specific co-pay from my insurance. He was so demeaning to me I could not even believe it was happening. He was more concerned about talking to a gentleman in the hall about current events then about any health issues. I can not believe he is even in practice. I was in the room for maybe 2 minutes after waiting 2 hours. He did not give me any prescriptions for my skin... only referred me to purchase his laser services instead of normal/tradition medicine. I truly felt like I was in a scam and could not believe he was a board certified doctor! I would never reccommed this doctor. It was a horrible experience and have no idea how he has any positive reviews if it behaved 1/10 of the way he did with me. more

I totally agree with the second reviewer. I am a 19 year old college student with tuition and book fees and what feels like the world on my financial shoulders. However I was willing to set aside a reasonable amount of money for my needs. But my experience with Dr. newman was terribly discouraging. The whole thing is a total scam. The office assistants are incredibly slow and incompetent. The doctor spends little to no time with the patient. He is rude and distracted. His most important task: to improve your skin, is the least important issue. He does NOT offer brand solutions other than his atrociously unaffordable line and he acts disgusted and rude when you ask for other options. That man should NOT have been a doctor. People and their needs are not a priority to him. The office is stinky and dirty and it has this whole “Beverly Hills” front but as we all know, looks can obviously be deceiving. I would never wish my experience upon another person looking for dermatological help. There are plenty of other more effective, friendlier, cheaper doctors in a city like Los Angeles than to waste your time and go through the pain of an office like Dr newmans. more

Former LA resident, Dr. Newman and his brother are amazing. Incredible results for face and there line of products amazing. I miss his facial wash. He knows his field. As a Lake Forest resident i demand the best and was referred to Armand and I thank them for the reference. more
