Archive's coffee is terrible and 90% of their employees are pretentious (the girls are usually nice though). If you're not a rich kid pretending to be ironic and poor (basically a hipster), this isn't the coffee shop for you. It's sad that such a great location and environment is ruined by a few employees. If you're in the area and just want coffee, get some at the Organic Food Market next door; their coffee is dramatically better. Pros: Great Atmosphere, Rents movies, Plays movies on some nights Cons: Baristas are pretentious (you're a f'ing barista, get over yourself) more

Out of nowhere 12/22/2004

I had been going to visit friends in the Bushwick area for three years and to my surprise recently I found this little oasis in the sea of warehouses. This place is amazing...movies, caffeine, magazines, sandwiches. It's another reason for those artists who are getting more square footage than any of us manhattanites to stay put. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Ambiance, Music, Great Movie Selection more
