I origionally signed up with them at the LV Sahara Office. They tried really hard to find me the right job, but just couldn't seem to find the perfect match. So, when I moved to...

Worst

They have a lot of clerical jobs posted on monster and you do have to go through a lot of skill assesstment testings but it takes awhile to hear something back from them. Pros:...

Terrible! 6/28/2013

I applied at AppleOne 6 months ago, with my experience and the industries that I work in, I shouldn't have a problem finding a job. It took them 2 months to get me a 3 day convention setup gig, then 2 months later they got me another gig where if I was lucky, I'd get 10 hours a week. Then they got me another gig, but because of an incredible out of the blue opportunity I had to quit that one. 3 weeks later I have still been unable to get them to answer my voicemails, and if I try to talk to someone other than my rep, they refuse to help me. They seem to hold grudges, I overheard one rep tell another that since someone turned down a job, he wouldn't be getting anything for a few months and he needs to go to the bottom of the list. At that point I should have known to stay away. I wish I could give them 0 stars. more

Greatful! 6/13/2011

I am soo thankful I found these reviews! I, myself, have great work experience and was under the impression that this WASN'T an temp agency when I talked to Jasmine Fishpaw. I actually had an interview with AppleOne tomorrow. Thank you all for your opinions, you have saved me a great deal of time. I will be looking for a job the old fashion way, newpapers!! (and of course, the internet.) more

DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CAREER SEARCH!! 4/21/2011

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST STAFFING SERVICE ON THE PLANET! I can't believe that they are still in business. They are awful. They are rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. Asked me to come in for an "interview" (for the 3rd time), dressed up and on time. It was a 25 mile commute for me. I get there only to hear them tell me that the job would be a 80 mile round trip commute everyday, and that they didn't think I would be a "fit", because of where I lived. TELL ME WHY DIDN'T THEY LOOK at my file before "interviewing" me for this position?? AMATEURS!! Just the worst of the worst. more

Senior IT PM, Recruiter 4/18/2011

I have read all the reviews for the Apple One Employment Service, applied with them, provided several resumes and have come to my personal conclusion. The attrition rate of Las Vegas employment has left even the Apple One recruitment teams in a "lock step" mindset or methodology, meaning they lost thier passion for helping others and are just trying to mainaint thier jobs. With all the advertized requests for various candidates in Information Technology field and others, I find, the recruiters in "all three offices" seem to be so detached from the mainstream and aren't doing justice to Apple One as a company. Wake up managers!!!! Maybe it's review time for some of your "legacy status" employed staff!!! I would love to work with the company but find the staff members "lackadasical attitudes" to be such a turnoff!!!!!! more

APPLEONE SUCKS!! NO STARS!! 3/17/2011

YES!! I wish I had seen these reviews before I signed up with this agency as well!!! THEY SUCK!!! Get ready because yes they ignore your calls and they do not call you back. Your better off finding a job on your own. Oh yeah they will milk you to. The company they get you an assignment with is paying them $20 a hour for your contract agreement but Appleone is only going to pay you $9 a hour. I WHISH I COULD GIVE THIS AGANCY NO STARS ..... APPLEONE SUCKS SO BAD!!!! more

AppleOne worst of the worst!! 8/23/2010

I relocated to Las Vegas about 7 months ago. I signed up with AppleOne (Amy was the recruiter) and Amy told me she would place me within 2 weeks. Well 7 months later, countless calls to the office and several trips to that joke of an agency, not once have they placed me at a single job. Every time I called, my recuiter (Amy) seemed to be too busy or preoccupied with something else to talk.. Her famous quote (nothing yet, call back next week, ok bye)..... So for those of you looking for work, i suggest to make AppleOne your last choice cause you will just be let down by them... more

HORRIBLE TO SAY THE LEAST 1/27/2009

the only time they will hire you is if one of thier friends companies need something...or husbands companies. they signed me up with a job that paid 13 and hour a month and a half after i went there, only trained me for 2 weeks..barely...to do what should be trained in about 2 months. i tried to complain about the working conditions, but since thier boss is married to one of the managers at this company my complaints fell on dead ears. i also came to find out in training that 4000 employees were getting laid off....and guess what happened! i usually love going through staffing agencies, but this one is, excuse my french,S-HIT! i will find work on my own from now on.... more

TOTALLY USELESS! 8/22/2008

I was scheduled for an appointment with the branch manager. When I showed up, the receptionist told me that she had to leave the office for an emergency. I found it hard to believe that nobody could call me to let me know that she was leaving! The receptionist seemed unconcerned and said that I could fill out the paperwork now and somebody would call me that afternoon to reschedule. They have never called me back!!! What a totally useless waste of gas. more

WASTE OF TIME! 6/17/2008

I have been working with Apple One since NOVEMBER of 2007. I have over 10 years work experience and have 3 different degrees. I have never worked with a job agency before, so I didn't know what to expect, but the Sahara Branch is terrible. They send you mass emails about job openings, but NEVER follow up with you in regards to the next step. A friend of mine worked for them, and said they are obligated to post some many jobs per week, and if they don't have that certain number of jobs, then they just make them up! The jobs don't even exist! Don't waste your time. Your better off looking on your own! more

Here's Why They Won't Place You! 2/21/2008

My understanding of how Appleone works is as follows. You look at the website and see 25 jobs that look like a possiblilty so you go and talk to a staffing manager, they think your a great and say they are going to call you. Don't be feel to rejected when they don't. The reason they are not calling is becaue the job order does not belong to them personally. They are on commission. If they didn't secure the job order they may not be able to get you the interview. They will tell you this isn't the case but, trust me, It is!!! So, look carefully at all the job orders. Determine which Staffing Manager has the most under their name personally and set the appointment with that individual. Don't take an appointment with anyone else. This should help when working with this agency. Don't go for the closest office, rather the employee with the most jobs under their name. Good Luck!! more

Great place to work for. 2/20/2008

I origionally signed up with them at the LV Sahara Office. They tried really hard to find me the right job, but just couldn't seem to find the perfect match. So, when I moved to CA,they found me the best job I ever had. The job was a perfect fit for me. I have been to other states as well, and they have always done a great job in finding me great jobs, but sometimes it does take patience for them to have the "RIGHT'" job that fits your needs and skills. I have also had times where they did not return my calls or emails, but I guess that is just the way it is. more

I thought I was alone! 7/12/2007

I too signed up with appleone when I first came to town. The Henderson office is right down the street from me. It's been 5 weeks and nothing. The senior account executive not only ignores my calls but wont return emails either.\r \r I wish I had seen these reviews before I wasted my time! more

Worthless. Unless Your Mom Works There! 6/13/2007

My experience is with the Hendersopn office. When I first moved to town I signed on with AppleOne via internet, completed the application, went it to take tests, complete more forms, watch videos and finally meet my account executive.\r \r She assured me that there would be work for me and to call in weekly. I did this for aover a month and finally just happened to call on the right day, they had 3 days of grunt work (convention set-up) for me at $10/hr. I accepted it, hoping it would lead to more. \r \r But here's what I found out: I have met 4 other people placed in jobs by this company. Of the 4, 3(!) are children of AppleOne account executives. So, to answer an earlier question, That's who they find jobs for.\r \r Don't make this a high priority agency if you are looking for work. Unless your mom works there already. more

Very, very disappointed 11/21/2005

I have nothing good whatsoever to say about this company. I came to Vegas with excellent skills, excellent references, and an excellent work history, but did Apple One find me a job? HAH! Initially I liked my recruiter a lot. She seemed smart and hip and she promised she'd find lots of great work for me. Two months later? Absolutely ZIP. Nothing, people. So, if you're really serious about finding work in Vegas? Steer clear of this completely ineffective agency, because they simply don't have what it takes. PROS: NOTHING CONS: EVERYTHING more

It's questionable WHO they're employing . . . 9/15/2005

I moved to Las Vegas with a sterling resume and tons of work experience. Having worked for temp agencies in the past, I expected to be placed within a week or so. I went in for the initial testing, then was told I'd be called when they had something for me. I was instructed to call each week and let them know my availability, which I did faithfully every Monday morning. Eight months later, AppleOne called with a temporary part time listing that I would have to pay $75 to apply for (it was a casino gaming card I needed). Yeah right. By that time I had already found MYSELF a permanent, full time position with another company. Their communication is non-existent, and I don't feel they tried to place me at all. I signed up with two other agencies that same week, and they both had work for me almost every day. PROS: None CONS: No communication, no job placement assistance, waste of time more

APPLEONE EMPLOYMENT SERVICES 7/30/2005

WHEN I FIRST WENT TO APPLEONE, I HAD SOME HOPE OF FINDING A JOB. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HELP ME. THEY SENT ME INFORMATION ON TWO JOBS, WHICH I DIDN'T GET-NOT EITHER ONE OF THEM. THEY HAVEN'T CALLED ME SINCE I CALLED THEM TO ASK THEM IF THEY HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT EITHER JOB. I LOST ALL HOPE OF GETTING HELP FROM THEM. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY WEREN'T TO WORK WITH ME MORE. I HOPE THAT THEY DON'T CONTINUE TO FOLLOW THESE POLICIES. JOANN D. PROS: NONE CONS: NO COMMUNICATION- NO JOB more
