I moved to Las Vegas with a sterling resume and tons of work experience. Having worked for temp agencies in the past, I expected to be placed within a week or so. I went in for the initial testing, then was told I'd be called when they had something for me. I was instructed to call each week and let them know my availability, which I did faithfully every Monday morning. Eight months later, AppleOne called with a temporary part time listing that I would have to pay $75 to apply for (it was a casino gaming card I needed). Yeah right. By that time I had already found MYSELF a permanent, full time position with another company. Their communication is non-existent, and I don't feel they tried to place me at all. I signed up with two other agencies that same week, and they both had work for me almost every day.
PROS: None
CONS: No communication, no job placement assistance, waste of time
