The legendary Apollo Theatre 8/29/2005

The Apollo Theatre is legendary and a staple in the Harlem area of New York City. Probably most widely known for "Amateur Night at the Apollo" this theatre also brings in some wonderful, big-name entertainment. When we went, we had seats in the balcony -- and they were still pretty good. The theatre is not terribly fancy -- but the history is rich and it's definately worth a visit. It's a real gem in New York. more
