My puppy died here during a ""safe and routine"" spay 5 minutes into surgery. Yes I did have all of the pre work done. She had an autopsy afterward also. This confirmed she was healthy. It might have been helpful if they hadn't declined to have toxicology done. Multiple people medicated her for this surgery and there is a discrepancy as to when she had pre anesthetics. I don't think it is normal for a vet to pay for cremation after a death. Luckily there was still enough liver sample from her autopsy for me to send out of state for toxicology. If anyone knows of others that have had serious problems at this place I would like to talk to them. I do NOT recommend this vet more

I took my dog there for first 5 years of his life.Then a problem came up,and all blame was put on me which it wasnt me.They stopped seeing my dog,and not once have they called to see how he is.I thought they cared for him,but I was wrong.\r \r Dr Fox is a good vet,and always took care of my dog,and all techs I had were nice.\r \r My dog loved em all,and he loved going to the vet.\r \r I got my dog at 4 weeks old,and he went here all his life.I just dont see how they could treat him for 5 years,and not even call to see how he is more

Great place for your Dog 11/6/2008

I visited Apache Trail Animal Hospital for the first time today and thought they were great! My dog needed a vaccination and they were able to do it right away. I liked the atmosphere. more

Small animal care 5/27/2008

I have a 13 year old yorki that, at the time had no idea what was wrong with her. She was not able to walk..eat and was disoriented. Dr Karen Fox not only got her back in good health but her follow up is wonderful.\r I would say the pricing is a little high, but when it comes to family staying healthy.. you really can?t put a dollar amount on trust, great bedside manner, and a piece of mind. Thank you Dr Fox and team for taking care of my kids at home and while away! more

My vet, my angel 11/9/2007

Dr. Karen Fox and her staff have taken care of our pets for almost 13 years. Everyone at Apache Trail Animal Hospital truly cares for animals and their families. I have never had a problem having a pet seen and have always been treated with kindness, especially in emergencies. Over the years we have lost 3 pets. I have seen Dr. Fox and her staff cry over my babies and they have been so supportive of us. I truly feel love and respect for them all. more

Reliable Vet 11/29/2005

Apache Trail was our vet for 3 years, and they took good care of our pets, including an emergency surgery that saved the life of one of our cats, who is still alive now at the age of 17. more
