What a great spot. The interior is a perfect combination of casual warmth, class, but flexible with its wide-open windows that give you a slice of Queen Village atmosphere.
The food was excellent. High quality AND they take reservations, have a great bar, great tapas / small plates, reasonably prices, all with a VERY GOOD wine list. For one bottle of a very nice wine ($32) and 8 dishes, we spent the same amount as we did at the new Django on just food! This is a neighborhood competitor that has more space, highly-crafted food, great service, & very good wine list.
I can totally see it being a great place for a lively dinner on a weekend.
Food: Octopus, cheeses, scallops, salad, sauteed cauliflower, lockseverything was perfect. Wonderfully done. And no offense, but Id go back to Ansill 100 times before I went back to Piff. Sorry! Thanks!
Pros: food, wine, service
Cons: bit loud
