This woman is incredibly rude, but don't take my word for it....here's the straight story as told by my wife.\r

She arrived on time to drop off a bride's maid dress. Other than the sign in her front yard, there is no indication where to come in. Naturally, she walked to the front door (screen door) and knocked/rang the door bell. No answer. She then proceeded to open the screen door to knock the inner door, to which this Anna lady said ""Didn't you SEE the SIGN?!"" (The ""ring doorbell"" sign is posted on the inner door, not clearly visible because of the screen door, for all you public who DARE attempt to enter her ""business establishment"") Wow, nice greeting...this is REALLY going to go well. BY THE WAY, she had a major gas leak earlier in 2011, which was never completely remediated because you can smell methyl mercaptan throughout the house. Enjoy that.\r

So, my wife then explains the few alterations she wants done to the dress (wedding is 3 weeks away.) Mrs. Brown says ""This is going to cost you $100...I'm charging 'rush fees' because this is last minute...AND I need $35 right now. Rush? Deposit? A HUNDRED DOLLARS?!! For an alteration she would probably screw up anyways given other reviews of this sham of a place.\r

Fortunately, the $35 check was never cut. This is because, when verifying the amount to write, Mrs. Brown tersely stated, ""Well....that's FINE."" Her attitude alone cost her to lose the business.\r

So if you like a grouchy woman that overcharges and, based on another review, stains your brand new clothes, you've hit the jackpot with Anna Brown Sewing. A better option would be to find a quality Mennonite or Amish seamstress in the area.
