People are always commenting on my Lhasa Apso’s grooming. I have been to large pet spas, large commercial day care facilities and the Animal House located in Cohoes NY has it all over these macro establishments. Chiloe Hunt, the proprietor of The Animal House is not only a superior groomer, Chiloe also promote animal wellness, enjoys her career and LOVES animals. Great cozy hometown shop for doggie day care too, your pet is never left alone and will always have company to play with. I highly recommend. more

Great groomer! 7/22/2005

I take our huge german shepherd to Shiloh at the Animal House to be groomed. She does a fabulous job for a minimal amount of money. I think she charges $40 for our dog and I think it varies based on the breed. She's wonderful with the animals and very knowledgeable about different breeds. Highly recommend her. Although the location is not ideal unless you live in the area, she really is worth the trip. She noticed while grooming our dog that he was favoring one of his hips and recommended we take him to the vet. He has hip displaysia which is common in his breed, but is something we probably would not have noticed. more
