SUZANNE AND ROBERT BRINK 1/14/2010

I am so happy I found this Vet. Dr. Warren is a caring man as well as his whole staff. I never went to a hospital that opened up like these wonderful people. I went for a second opinion on a recommendation from a friend. My Storm is dying. She is only seven years old Rotweiler. She is so lovable and never got a break in her young life. But Dr.warren has done all he can and more. I never found this and we have had five other dogs. all I can say is thank you. more

My dog loved it! 7/5/2008

I boarded my bichon frise at the Animal Hospital of Elmont in April 2008. I had only had the dog since December and was nervous about putting her in a kennel. When I dropped her off they let me watch her in the kennel for a few minutes. They knew it was hard for me to leave her there. The vet techs counseled me and let me call as often as I wanted. When I picked my dog up, she was clean and happy. She even followed 1 of the techs into an exam room while I was there. I plan on boarding my dog there again during my next trip. more

Above and Beyond 7/23/2007

I am a veterinarian myself. Last year, while doing relief work at a small private animal hospital in Queens, NY, I saw an eight-year-old dog who was quite ill and jaundiced. Obviously, she needed hospitalization, diagnostics, and intensive care. I arranged for the owner to bring the dog to a specialty hospital where the little dog could have gotten the intensive supportive care she needed and would have had the best chance for recovery.. The owner left the hospital where I was working, assuring me she was taking the dog straight to the specialty hospital. When I called that hospital the next day, I was told she never showed up.\r \r Two days later she went to Dr. Warren, at which time the dog was even more critically ill.. Dr. Warren convinced her to hospitalize her pet, but unfortunately the disease was now so advanced that hard as he tried (and try he did), it was too late to save the poor dog. The owner had mentioned she had been to another vet two days earlier, but didn't say more

I have only known Dr warren for a short period in which he took superb care of my gravely ill dog.He is very caring and compassionate and tries very much to give emotional support for the family. The staff is very friendly and gently with the animals.I did not worry one bit when I had to leave my dog in his care for one week.Very trustworthy facility. more

The Only Vet We've Had for 30+ Years 7/22/2005

All throughout the good and bad times with my dear pets, we've used this clinic. The veterinarian, Dr. Warren, is very friendly and fair. He is honest about whether or not he thinks a pet is ready to be put down and very comapssionate when it comes to the hard decisions we sometimes have to make. We've known animals who have needed very intricate care as well as the common care such as shots and boarding, and we've never yet heard a complaint about him from all the people we've recommended this place too. PROS: caring atmosphere for your pets CONS: none more
