I just found this place in Point Loma and man is it packed! They have everything you could ever want. I live in East County and don't get to the coast much, but I was looking for a part for an old Lew's reel and went down to check them out. Heard good things about them from my buddies. Luc the owner was extremely helpful and even had a Lew's just like the one I was looking for parts for, He gave me a great deal on the reel for parts and I ended up leaving both to get serviced. Just got the reel back and it feels like new. Thanks guys! You have to check this place out for yourself, it has it all. more

This place has a great selection of the gear that catches fish, not just fisherman. It is extremely convienent if you launch out of shelter Is. or do the cattle boat thing in SD bay. Most of the employees are helpfull and courteous more

Check it out 9/8/2010

I have been a regular to this shop since they were in there old location. This place is amazing, you have to check it out. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once inside, look out! You can spend hours in the place and never see everything. Luc and his employees have always treated me fairly and given me loads of great advice over the years. more

Packed to the Brim 9/7/2010

One of the only fishing stores in San Diego that carries a great selection of high end fishing rods and reels. The store is small, but they pack it to the brim with fishing gears, tackles, you name it. So if you are a tackle ho, definitely check out Angler's Choice and support your local stores. more

The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. But don't take my word for it, go and give them a visit. BTW, I think they have the BEST layout versus the competition down the street...ahem-SQUIDCO more
