We had been looking for my son's second vehicle for a while... he is a Junior in college and we were ready to buy his 2nd car. This time it would be a new car. I was looking to purchase a Volkswagen Beetle, my dream car, on my own. I started out on line and was contacted by Tony Staten who set up a time and date that was good for me to have my current vehicle appraised. Tony made the start of my buying process easy and enjoyable. Once at the dealership I dealt with Jay who worked to get me the deal I needed to make my dream car become a reality. I am appreciate both Tony and Jay for all they did and would recommend them both for anyone looking to purchase a new or used Volkswagen. Thank you to them both!!! more

I was in the process of searching for a new car, and let me tell you it was a hassle. I went to several places and had to learn to get my keys and id back fast or I would be at the mercy of the dealership. After much frustration I called up Ancira Volkswagen and my experience was turned upside down. Joe Mejia was super courteous and referred me to the best person to buy a reliable, safe vehicle from, CHRIS BROWN! Chris, being a family man knew the ordeal I had to go through when I strolled in with a stroller and let me tell you, the man is straight up and honest. When you look at his work space and see employee of the month awards consecutively since 82' you will understand why. I went in, was taken care of and now drive a brand new vw that has the best ride of any vehicle I have ever owned. more

All new cars will eventually get a scratch, but to get the 1st one at the dealership with only 308 miles on the odometer is not good. Then to watch the salesman, maintenance guys, and floor manager all offering different versions of ""who done it"" and how easy it will be for me to get it fixed (after a 3rd trip to the dealership...next week), leaves me wishing I had kept my old car, or at least wishing I had looked for a different dealership.\r \r As for the car...LOVE the JETTA TDI Sport Wagon. Drives great, super fuel mileage (40 + MPG city & highway, less than 10 Cents a mile for fuel to drive)!\r \r Liked our salesman, but like so many in his profession, he tries to tell you what he thinks you want to hear...which is really too bad if all you wanted to hear was the truth, or that he didn't know the answer. more

Once again the service department at Ancira came through. We live in Corpus Christi and although we have a VW dealer here, we had a bad experience with the service department. Ancira fixed what they didn't. We now trust no one but Ancira to touch our vehicle. They are honest and truly professional, always going above and beyond for the customer. Teresa Carpenter in service made sure we were taken care of completely. Tanya is also one of the best service advisors I have ever come into contact with. We would rather drive 3 hours for great service and know that the work is done correctly. You can't go wrong if you're looking for a car or looking for a place to have your car serviced. This is the place. more

I recently bought a new 2013 Volkswagen Jetta from Jay Lucero at Ancira. Ancira already had the best prices in the state according to my research, so I drove in from Austin after work to look for a car. Jay was helpful from start to finish and helped me get the color and style I wanted and negotiate a great price on my Jetta. He even stayed past closing time to help me set up my bluetooth and audio system. I'd recommend him and Ancira to anyone! more

I recently just purchased a VW Passat and I had a pleasant experience from the Vw dealer. The whole process was pretty strait forward. My salesman Mr. Wes Weschenfelder was very knowledgable about the various vehicles I test drove knowing everything about them. He even offered suggestions as to how to use the various systems in order to have the best enjoyable experience with my new VW. The VW facilities were very nice as well. I do wish they were open on Saturdays but they are open on Sunday and beggers can't be choosers. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and if your looking for a VW in San Antonio I would reckoned this dealership over the others. \r \r If you looking for VW, ask for Wes! more

If I could have given Chris a 100 stars I would have. The experience at Ancira was a very positive one. I had shopped for a car for several months, and researched the various autos on the internet. I liked the mpg the Passat promised. I live 300 miles from San Antonio and was thrilled to get 51.4 miles per gallon on my trip home.\r \r Everyone we encountered at Ancira was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. Thanks to Chris, Sales Manager Anthony and Finance Manager Bianca for making it all a memorable experience. more

This was by far the most pleasant dealer experience for us. We arrived a little early before opening on labor day and Miguel was even nice enough to come out and help us before opening. Did not try to upsell or push us into a different car at all. He recognized that we had our sights set on a certain car and got us a fantastic deal on both the new car and our trade in vehicle. Miguel and Ancira truly went above and beyond to make us happy. more

I am now out of my lease, in a brand new vehicle, and couldn't be happier. A few days ago my boyfriend and I went back and we did the same thing with his vehicle!! Except, he wasn't in a lease so they bought his car, cut us a check for the difference and got him in a brand new tdi. I am a huge VW fan anyways, but they made the process so easy, did not bs us, and got us the best possible deals!! more

2011 Golf TDI 6/19/2011

My wife and I had such a great experience just over the phone that we drove over 2 hours to make a purchase on a 2011 Golf TDI. Marcey Morales was extremely helpful and kept in contact with us even on the morning of the trip to wish us a safe drive. Honestly, it feels like you don't get this type of customer service anymore nowadays. The salesman, Charles Allbritton came in on his day off to make sure we were taken care of and stayed until we left. Mike from financing went out of his way to make sure we got the best deal possible. Overall, the anxiety that usually comes with buying a new car was nonexistent at Ancira Volkswagen. I would definitely recommend to anybody who wants a great deal and friendly, and honest customer service. more
