Always have my dinner in here twice a week, they have great wraps, and their Doner taste so good. Must stop by, highly recommended. Excellent service! more

The menu may look a little pricey at first but the food that follows it more than makes up for the price. The portions served are big, the quality is great. I am an American Turk, and I know Turkish food with a passion. This restaurant is clean, the food is great. The people are extremely warm and friendly. All Friday nights around 9-9:30, there is live Turkish music being played by Turkish people outside the restaurant right next to a Turkish shop. Extremely friendly atmosphere for everyone. The price, food, quality, quantity, authenticity, hospitality are all excellent. I never once complained about my visit there. more

Food was disgusting. All the meals were cold and came out at different times. The "manager" was completely rude and unprofessional about our dissatisfaction. She actually resorted to name calling. Never going back and will tell everyone I know to STAY AWAY. There are plenty of reasturants that will appreciate good business. This is not one of them. more

I looked in to Anatolia after seeing a photo posted on someone's Facebook page. I was thinking it might be a fun place to head out to later tonight. But, after reading the reviews, I see a very common theme (lack of service, food coming out at different times, etc.) Normally I would say "well the heck with it" we'll give it a shot but after seeing the owner (or whoever it is from the restaurant) respond to several complaints, I think I'll avoid it. Have you ever heard of conducting your business behind closed doors? Instead of being defensive, why don't you listen to the complaints and change? Obviously all these people can't be wrong and it is such a turn off that you would even respond. That's why I am taking my money elsewhere tonight. more

We use to go there when they first open. We were happy to find a restaurant in the neighborhood, We love Turkish food and Turkey as a destination for vacations (one of our best trip ever...) The problem with that restaurant it's the service I really hope they will correct that aspect in their offer. The other day the waitress was on the cell while working and it did play we our nerves...\r We will give you another chance, we don't want you to disappear.\r A+P\r : )\r Boca Raton more

I have never had such awful service at a restaraunt in my life. The owner was rude and at one point actually yelled and used profanity in front of my family. Our food was cold and came out at different times and was forgetable at best. We were'nt given napkins or silverware and actually had to go inside to get them ourselves. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

For starters we had a reservation and called the restaurant to confirm the day before. The table was not ready and they had no record of a reservation. No napkins or appetizer order was taken. The food came out at all different times and then they ran out of food in the middle of serving. Unprofessional and disorganized. I CAN GO ON AND ON BUT IT IS NOT WORTH IT! Unprepared, Unprofessional. and Disrespectful!!! more

It has been my pleasure to have eaten in many Turkish restauarants all over the Turkic world and this is simply the best. The decor is prosaic, the ambiance unremarkable, but the food they serve is pure ambrosia.\r If you believe as I do that the food is the only reason for a restauarant to exist, this place was created for you. more

We were looking for a restaurant near Mizner Park to grab a bite before a concert. This place came up on Urbanspoon with good ratings so we decided to go. When we were parking I saw the sign about bringing you're own wine/beer, which did not makes happy. Inmediately after being sitted we were served a delicious & spicy dipping sauce and freshly baked flatbred. I had a grilled lamb dish ("Cop Cis") and my friend a gyro-like meat ("Doner"). Both dishes came with rice, bulgur wheat, julienned diced raw red onions and a roasted plum tomato. Both meats where excellent. Never had bulgur wheat cooked like couscous (we both loved it). The onions were a perfect complement. For dessert we had this amazing "sweet cheese", good for at least 2-3 people. I'm definetely coming back (just the home-made dipping sauce is woth going back), but this time I'm bringin my own wine more

A large and hungry group of friends shared an extraordinary meal at Anatolia in Boca Raton last night. Everything, from the crusty homemade pita bread to the creamy hummus, bursting-with-flavor stuffed grape leaves (dolma), luscious sauteed eggplant, flavorful barbounia (red kidney bean salad in a wonderful dressing) and light tabouleh served in crisp lettuce leaves, was fresh, healthful and delicious. We were greeted by the owner like invited family guests and served by a smiling waiter, who immediately uncorked and iced the wine we brought -- at no charge! We left with memories of pistachio baklava, drenched in honey, and plans to return very soon... more

We have been going there for awhile and always had an enjoyable meal. Last night the service was terrible and food was even worse. Cold, hard and just bad. Waiter, when he finally showed up disappeared after taking our order. Sorry to say we won't be returning. more

I'm hooked on the ahtapot! It is sooo tender! We had 3 orders and could easily eat more. The grilled flavor is to die for! We will definitelybe back. I like the BYOB. more

I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but we had such an amazing experience here that I felt compelled to share. \r \r We started off with some coban (shephard's) salad and the mixed cold appetizers... WOW. It was immediately obvious this was going to be a great dining experience. The entrees came out shortly after and were even more delicious. So delicious that the 4 of us practically shared each other's dishes. We were so full with food, wine (byob) and laughter that we almost passed on dessert. What a mistake that would have been. \r \r Great staff, great service, great atmosphere, AMAZING food. more

Terribly disappointing meal, We thought we were going to get delicious skewers with grilled peppers, onions etc.\r \r I got almost raw chicken, raw peppers and raw onions, not what I wanted for dinner, slow service and high prices Not a good combination. Spend you money elswhere. more

Great over all dining experience. Great atmosphere, inviting courtyard, and amazing food. And don't forget to bring your favorite bottle of wine (or two). I've eaten there before and my favorite dish is the Adana Kebab. But I was feeling adventurous this time around so I started with the cold medley (mixed app dish) and calves liver to start. Then went with the grilled octopus platter. I've been pleasantly surprised with every dish I've ordered there so far, and this is no exception. Everyone else at the table was equally impressed with their dish as well. can't wait for the snow birds to leave so we can be seated quicker. Be sure to reserve on weekends, or be prepared to wait for your great dining experience.\r Oh, and the prices are very reasonable (especially because you bring your own wine). more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 2/14/2011

I love Mediterranean food, and after my recent visit to Turkey I was determined to find a half way decent Turkish spot in Boca. Anatolia far exceeded my expectations, and was just as good if not better than some of the great restaurants I ate in while in Turkey. The octopus is the best in Boca...if you're one for that type of food, but all the food is really wonderful. And it was kind of cool to BYOB. Try it out, you won't be disappointed :) more
