Our goal is to assist amputees encourage a better lifestyle through education, advocacy support. From the initial consultation to routine follow-up appointments with the prosthetic, TAPC's program was designed to offer the highest quality of care for the amputee patient. TAPC's offices were designed with patient comfort as a top priority, boasting meeting rooms for amputee support groups, a workout room, unique training stations, & a coffee bar with that starbucks? Atmosphere: We strive to meet the needs of our patient: to always be heard; to address all clinical/medical needs; to have their questions answered; to have their anxiety level reduced; to address rehab and/or physical therapy; & to hear about becoming an amputee. Additionally, no matter how good our prosthetists are, nothing can take the place of talking with a fellow amputee, our Peer Visitors. TAPC's peer visitors are different ages, personality, & gender and are carefully matched with our patients. The primary goal of a peer visitor is to reduce the anxiety level of new amputees.
