Their adverstised price really only applies to glasses for nearsightedness with absolutely no "added features" to the basic frames lenses. The basic frames/lenses are of satisfactory quality and if you do NOT need bifocals and are NOT very concerned with style, you will get out of there with 2 pairs of eyeglasses and a good eye-exam for the price they advertized. In my case I opted for one pair with a prescription for my nearsightedness (I do have to remove these to read because my nearsightedness had worsened over the years.) and the second pair with several additional options. My total charges were around $280.00. I would also like to point out that I am a repeat customer and I still have my "no frills" eyeglasses from 1990! I keep them as an emergency pair but that should tell you something about America's Best. Overall, a nice place and a very fair price if you don't get to fancy/stylish. I do recommend them and not that it should matter but I am a 53 year old white male.
