Needed a shower after visiting. 2/20/2005

I checked out every school in nyc (I think). This was the most expensive, also the most aggresive, to the point that it was somewhat scary. Cannot understand why they feel that they can charge so much. more

No information on their website. Trying to get information over the phone was like pulling teeth. Yes! I had to make an appointment, but I was calling from another state, yet they were still reluctant to give me the price and then they kept calling me. They had a fit when I told them I was going to another school. Yes, they both rude and unprofessional! more

Be prepared for the pushy sales staff when you visit. Very unprofessional considering they want $900 for training. Cons: , pricey, not professional more

Outstanding 12/8/2004

I visited all of the schools and found that American was the most established in the New York area. The first week after graduation they helped me find a job. Pros: excellent instructor, good job placement he, hands on training more
