i don't normally write reviews, but i had such a great experience at Amaci salon that i felt it was necessary to share my story! I printed out one of the 25% off Sunday and Monday coupons, which applies to new customers and made my appointment for Monday morning! The atmosphere was very laid back and i felt very comfortable. Ive had some bad experiences at Boston salons with snobby stylists... Ahmad was my stylist and he took me right on time and treated me as if i was his number one priority! I didn't feel like he was rushing or anything like that he took his time with me and made sure my hair was exactly the way i wanted it! He recommended i go with an auburn color, something i wouldn't have thought to try out! I love the color and so does everyone else! great cut too! more

Best Brazilian wax by ANA 11/29/2010

I've been to several places in boston area to get my brazilian wax ,no one has done it with so little pain and great attention to detail.ANA is fantastic,she makes me feel comfortable.She did an oustanding job and exactly what i was looking for.She's very clean,fast,skillful ,thorough and amazing.I gave her a big tip.I was so glad to meet her ,i'll definitely be back again .Thank you ANA more

I had been so stressed out planning my wedding, which was the weekend of November 21st. I knew exactly how i wanted to look on my big day, ive been imagining it for years. I had an appointment at Amaci salon for hair and makeup the morning of my wedding and i was absolutely impressed with the end result! First off, the staff was so friendly and helped me ease my wedding day jitters! They all truly helped to make my day that much better... My makeup was stunning and stayed on throughout the whole reception.. The colors really enhanced my eyes and tied in perfectly with my wedding dress! I have a lot of hair and wanted something non traditional! Ahmad was my hair stylist and makeup artist for the day. He showed me a few different looks he had previously done for other brides and i was so excited for mine to be done! He created a a masterpiece! I couldn't believe how much detail went into getting my hair done! I felt like a celebrity or at least i received celebrity treatment! I felt beautiful on my wedding day all thanks to Ahmad (the silver fox ;) ) more

Great service! 11/28/2010

For my 30th birthday my friends surprised me with a gift certificate to Amaci Salon! I have never dyed my hair and have had the same haircut for the last 5 years... My stylist was Ahmad we consulted about my hair and decided i needed something new and fresh! I was nervous at first but after my initial fears subsided i was so excited to see the outcome! Ahmad is AMAZING! You can really tell he loves what he does! The color is great it gave me a whole new look and a lot more confidence! The cut is edgy but perfect for me easy to maintain myself! I LOVE IT! id definitely recommend Amaci salon more

I heard about Amaci through several friends who swear by it so i decided to give it a try! i was referred to Amad (owner of the salon) im so happy with the results of my hair cut! i have very long curly hair, which in the past has been known to overwhelm some hair stylists. Amad handled my hair better than any other stylist ive ever seen!! not only did the cut come out perfect but he blew dry my hair completely straight ive never had anyone able to do that without massive amounts of product and straightening iron! He did use a small amount of morrocan oil, which i ended up buying my own bottle of! more

I am new to the Boston area and have been searching online and by word of mouth for a hair salon that could meet my standards! Over and over again my search kept turning up ""Amaci Salon"". So i called to book an appointment and expected to book a couple weeks out, but to my surprise i was booked for the very next day! my stylist was Amad, the owner of the salon. He made me feel extremely comfortable and understood my concern for trying out a new stylist in a new area. but it was completely worth it!! i received a full foil and hair cut! Anna is seriously..the best 10/11/2010

Anna is fantastic! Went in for a Brazilian before I left for boston - she's so thorough. I had a bad experience my first time getting one, but Anna was really nurturing and calmed my nerves! she even saw me 2 hours before my appointment because i got out of work early. She tweezed all the stray hairs - yes, it was very painful, even more painful then the actual waxing (in my opinion) - but, a beautiful result! She's my go-to from now on. & she's moderately priced too, only $55! more
