Gail and Doug have renovated the Altnaveigh right down to replacing the kitchen floors. Everything--the wholesome food, the presentation, the service, the drinks, the live music, the ambiance, and especially the way they dote on their guests--is superb. Make sure you try their fabulous lobster bisque--I've never tasted better. Margarita fans, you'll LOOOOVE their house recipe.
...Arancini con Funghi...breast of chicken Normandy...veal Saltimboca...confit Duck; almond-crusted salmon...fiddlehead ferns on a bed...mmmmmmmm.
And the inn and grounds are beautiful, Gail has peppered the decor with playable musical instruments and there's no dress code. What's to want?
