Amazing!!! 4/6/2013

I have been going to Alta Spa for microdermabrasion treatments. I have been now four times and I never leave disappointed! Awura is amazing, she caters to my needs. I have terrible acne and scaring, and she works diligently on my skin every time I come in. She recommended a regiment for my skin and it has worked wonders. This is by far the best spa experience I have ever had and every three weeks I look forward to my time with Awura! more

Don't go here for a hair cut and color!! 2/16/2013

The owner was a very sweet lady but she should not be a hair stylist. My girlfriend and I went and, after 6 and 1/2 hours and $300, my hair was bright orange and my girlfriend's hair had 90's highlights (she asked for an ombré and brought a picture). She left the color in my hair for about an hour. To top it off, it was freezing. It was a long time to be uncomfortable and get horrible results. I feel bad giving her such a bad review because she seemed like a very cool person and maybe she is better at the other services. But I would definitely not recommend going there for hair. more

Alta Spa provides a wide spectrum of services for all ages. Our staff are fully licensed practitioners. We have attended various schools and programs between us, including: Certification by Alexandria Professional Body Sugaring, Classes by Sothys of Paris, Color Classes by Goldwell Color Company, Color Classes by Farouk, and various trade shows in New York, Canada and Italy. We were awarded the 2002 New Business of the Year award from the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce at their 87th annual dinner on January 30th, 2003. Come in anytime and take a tour of our spa and experience the luxury that is at Alta Spa.
