low-key bar 3/20/2006

This place is a pretty decent bar to spend some time in. My boyfriend can't seem to tear himself away from the old school video games when we go though. The beer is cheap. It seems like the type of place that has a bunch of regulars from the neighborhood. This wouldn’t necessarily be the place to go with a huge crowd. more

Al's Tavern 3/9/2006

What a dive! 25 cent pool tables, beer, and recently booze. There is a really cool old mural running the length of the tavern/bar. It has been severly damaged from years of tobacco smoke, so I hope the owners will one day restore it. Inexpensive beer, and a great Wallingford hangout. If they could only fix Ms. Packman... more
