We have been at Alley Kat for dinner on a busy Friday night and also for lunch on a weekday. Weekends, well, it's a bar with all the usuals--crowds, smoke, etc. The ceiling is really low, so if you don't like loud smoky clubs, then skip it. The menu is interesting and different than other downtown bars.
The lunch pizza buffet was a good deal. It was just a couple of bucks for fresh salad, soup and AYCE pizza.
