I'm writing to you to let you know how appalled I am with the service I have received. I lay all blame at the feet of the owners and management who have not trained their employees properly. During this whole experience every mistake was explained away with the comment this is the busiest moving weekend of the year we appreciate your understanding.\r
I am understanding about the need to shift my move day by 24 hours. I am not understanding about the discount I was promised and then did not receive. I was told for the inconvenience and needing to pay to stay an extra day in my apartment I would receive 10% off the hourly rate and 50% off all materials. I did not receive that discount.\r
It was also never communicated to the crew sent to my apartment what I needed packed and moved. I requested three rooms to be packed they were notified of only one. I told the office that I had boxes but may need supplemental supplies the crew was sent with none.\r
While the young men that were sent to pack my apartment where very kind and personable they were not well-trained. They forgot items at the apartment did not do a final walk-through and I had to call them back. Before they left I asked if they had a screwdriver so I could take some hooks out of the wall they said they would go to the truck and bring me one. They went to the truck and left. While packing I was getting ready to take items to the trash one of the crew told me that they would take them to the trash for me. They did remove the trash, put it on their truck, And then took it to my new home and placed it in my home. Today while unpacking I found two bags of rotting food in my house. I am appalled!!!! Who trains people in this way with this type of unprofessional behavior. My new home has hardwood floors and your movers left a trash bag of melting ice cream and rotting food on those floors. Will your company reimburse me for the cleaning that I now must do? I labeled all rooms and furniture so everything could be placed in the appropriate location. Furniture that was supposed to be placed in the living room is now in the bedroom. I missed them with this furniture. The reason I hired a moving company is because I am an individual with the kidney transplant currently going into renal failure. I paid the extra expense for a moving company for my personal health and well-being. What I've received instead was a horrible experience extra labor that must be done on my behalf and risk to my personal health. I will not be recommending your company to anybody.
