All About Weddings

I must first make a few comments in regards to the complaints listed above. Many of the complaints sound just like some which my sons future wife would make. My questions to these people are as follows: 1) Were you predisposed to dislike a ""Germantown Botique""? Having lived here most of my life, as most of us ""Germantown natives or nearly natives"" run into that attitude often. 2) People who work in these shops are really great but they aren't miracle workers. Get past your size number most designer gowns are made with a size ""2"" model or even a size ""0"" model showing them; so if you usually wear a 6 and are told to order an 8 listen to them. Why do you think you go for several fittings prior to the event? 3) They are also experts on wedding etiquette, as iz the case with my son's future wife, she knows practically nothing about any etiquette at all. This saddens me. Young Women, please listen to the Ladies who work there. They can help you. 4) Finally, if you truly did have a negative experience, and wish to write a out it, please use proper grammer and spelling if you want anyone to take you seriously. \r \r My review on this store is that if I were able to give them 5 Gold Stars for: Kindness, Attentiveness, Protocol, Etiquette, and Effectiveness, I would do so for each of the aforementioned topics plus many,many more.\r \r Looking for A Mother of the Groom Dress and More\r more

I am shocked by the negative reviews! I have used All About Weddings as a bride myself, and as a bridesmaid on several occasions. They have always been very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The store offers a huge selection! If you give them your budget, they will find something goregous in your price range! They make your feel like princess! more

My experience here was horrible. I went in to my deposit on my bridesmaid dress. When i walked in all the employees were at the front of the store, but me and my mother was not acknowledged. The owner was on the phone and the other employees were standing around trying not to look our way. The store is small so we were all literally standing in front of each other, but they were still ignoring us. When someone finally said hello (me and my mother said hello when we walked in, but no one responded) it was the cake baker. She offered us a slice of cake while we waited. While we ate our cake i noticed that the owner wasn't even on a business call. She was talking to someone about a baseball game that they were going to attend that night. I felt that was very unprofessional and rude. We were the only customers in the store so we shouldn't have had to wait 20 mins to get service. \r \r Fast forward 2 months and the dress is back. I pay for the dress and go to try it on and realize it's the WRONG dress!! Then the owner tried to make it seem like it was my fault that she wrote down the wrong dress number. I made sure I brought in a picture of the dress, because I didn't know the dress number. We looked through the catalog to make sure i was getting the right dress and she still wrote the number down wrong. There was no compensation, no apology, nothing!! I wasn't even offered a garment bag to put the dress in. All i got was a $244 dress that I did not pick but am forced to wear. It's too late to order another dress. Never will i ever go there again and I advise anyone who values good customer service to say away also. more

One of my friends recommened me to this place... I had went to Ballew and that place was horrible! Workers didnt greet me at the door and noone really wanted to help me. But today I finally went to All About Weddings and the owner was so helpful, patient and knowlegeable. She asked me what I was looking for and got an idea of what I liked. I tried on a few dresses and she said ""I know exactly what you would love!"" Brought out the dress and I FELL IN LOVE.... Bought it on the spot... and she even took off $200 off the price. I had a great experience there : ) more

Don't ever step foot in this place. Some of the rudest customer service I have every receive. I was in two weddings this year and unfortunately had to step foot in this awful place 4 times. All 4 times I did not get greeted and everyone was on the phone. One time I waited 20 min to get helped. I called once to order a dress and was told over the phone by the owner that I have big hips and need a size 12 dress. (I normally order a size 6) and she has never seen me in person to make that accusation. Our whole bridal party had issues and got all the wrong sizes. They also altered the Brides dress to small and forced her to pay for it. Do whatever you need to stay away from this place and find another shop that will treat you better. more

I tend to have high expectations when it comes to service and quality when I am buying a higher ticket item, and All About Weddings exceeded my every expectation! My Mom and I went in this past weekend to look for my wedding dress, and I was blown away by the professionalism and efforts of the staff. They were very knowledgable about the dresses and were very patient as I tried on multiple ones. I was not expecting to find ""the one"" so soon, but the prices, quality and service were exceptional! Everything lined up perfectly for me to buy that day! In addition, I was able to see an invitation that I found online, and I also saw several bridesmaids dresses that coordinated well with my dress. This shop has gone above and beyond to make my wedding planning experience fun and special. The women are knowledgable, very friendly, and since they don't work on commission you get top knotch service. I was told Low's Bridal had the best pricing, but when I compared All About Weddings had lower prices every time! Highly recommend this place - it's the best I've found. Pros: Excellent selection, wonderful people, great prices Cons: Can't think of any! more

I had a very positive experience at All About Weddings. I had not tried on any dresses yet and went in to All About Weddings not knowing what to expect. The ladies there were very patient and happily answered all of my questions. They even gave me suggestions for caterers, flowers, and a cake lady! I would highly recommend them! All About Weddings you will fall in love all over again just being in the store makes you want to stay there forever in forever because they have so many beautiful pieces you will love for your wedding day they don't call All About Wedding for nothing because you will love everything they got in the store. more
