My family I recently had our photos taken by Alisa and I have say we had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Alisa and her assistants are delightful. We entire photography session was comfortable and pleasant. We took a brief tour of her fairytale home while the presentation was being prepared. We were blown away with the photographs. She captured such intimate and priceless moments of my family. After selecting photographs and frames, I arrived a week or two later to see the final product. My husband and I are very particular when it comes to finding a photographer. We heard about Alisa Murray through many people in the community, and all of them highly recommended that we choose her to capture the most precious moments in our family's lives, and to create heirloom portraits that we could cherish for a lifetime and beyond. Alisa once again amazes me with her ability to capture my precious babies smiles and bright eyes. She's extremely professional, easy going and an absolute joy to work with. She has a beautiful home/studio located just outside of Pearland. Easy to find and locate, beautiful surroundings and abundance of trees and nature for those beautiful outdoor photos we all love with our children. We got lost because she is in the middle of nowhere...I mean the forrest. Not happy. It took a long time for us too even get to see our pictures.. Pros: None Sorry Cons: Out in the Stix, She was late, and wouldn't stop talking more

Boy, this lady is much, much more than a photographer. She's an artist. All you have to do is look around her studio and her home and see her artistic touch everywhere. There is LOTS going on all around you when you first walk in and lots to look at. There are huge photographs matted and framed on every wall. There are dozens and dozens of examples of framed photography, color photography, black and white, large, small, mega sized, photos that look like water color art, photos with an Andy Warhol look, photos printed on canvas - this photographer can take a photograph and turn it into anything you want it to be. I had to take a good chunk of time studying every wall - each piece - just to decide what I liked best of all. Figuring out what to do with the photos you get is a big job but WOW do you get a lot of photos to pick from. Hundreds. And when your selection arrives at your doorstep, even the presentation is wonderful and has a personality of its own. Alisa has figured out the whole process and really mastered it. She's funny, too, and has a way of bonding with just about everybody who walks in her studio. She's sort of eccentric in a way but hugely normal in another. She is really an artist who has found a wonderful niche and is just running a marathon with it. I fell in love with Alisa right away. Her open outgoing personality just made us feel like family. The studio is warm and inviting and the children call her Aunti Alisa. The hole process was relaxed and very upscale, we viewed our pictures right after the shoot on a big projection screen with music (made me cry) and the kids played happily with the Thomas the train set right beside us. She was able to capture the expressions no one else could seem to get. The pictures are remarkable by the way. I highly recommend Alisa if you want a ""portrait artist that can bring capture your babies real emotions and one on one attention.
