I needed to let people know that if you decide to go to BECCO and want a romantic time with good food....LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! I have been a frequent patron of BECCO restuarant in the past three years. I went there with a friend to show her a fine dining experience....We were met at the door by a man representing the restuarant that was unshaved for days with his hair sticking out everywhere, and had stains on his jacket that smelled. (not of restaurant food) The restaurant was extremely loud and we felt like we were in a sports bar atmousphere. I asked to have us brought to the second level of the restuarant knowing that from past visits was always quite and open for good dining and soft conversation. The upstairs was partitioned and half the size and we were placed between two tables of Eight people that were expressing loud obnotious ranting! Upon our request, the management would not ask them to quite down. I felt like we were in a McDonalds at midnight after superbowl. We ordered Swordfish and Salmon for our dinners and it was recieved 45 minutes later----it was COLD and not cooked all the way..... I could not believe that this restaurant would allow such poor management and kitchen staff to exist. If you want a romantic and special evening...DO NOT GO TO BECCO. Very Disappointed!
Pros: Good for a drink after superbowl
Cons: staff was unprofessional
