Airtran

AirTran is the most pathetic airline company in the US. I was coming back to New York from Miami with AirTran, they closed the departure gate before the scheduled time and I had to pay $1000 to get another flight. They didn’t even make any announcement before closing the gate. There was nobody from AirTran available on the airport who could help me. When I called the customer care the lady who responded was so rude. She raised her voice and said, Sir your ticket has been fortified and we can't help you. We close the gate early so out flight crew can get ready before the departure time. Guys I beg you please DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this crappy airline company. I will never ever travel with AirTran again, even if they give me a free ticket. more

I flew on Airtran for the first time in February, and it was pretty good, for the price. I only paid $79 each way from Atlanta to Denver. The are always running specials, and if you like no frills air travel then you should check it out. They do have free XM radio, and they even give you a headset. They do not show movies, and they don't even have any screens on the aircraft. All in all it was a good experience. more
