Editorial review from Citysearch 6/30/2012

My senior dog gets great care at Airport Park N Bark. I've boarded dogs here for 6 plus years. The customer service is great and more important the care my dog gets is fantastic. He's on a special diet, on arthritis medication, and has also needed prescription shampoo. Yes, he's high maintenance, but he always gets special, loving attention. When he's there, I never have to worry. I highly recommend Airport Park N Bark. more

I own a very LARGE dog and rather then 6/3/2012

I own a very LARGE dog and rather then be afraid of him, they love him to death. It crazy, I think he actually gets excitedd to go see his friends at PandB. I feel so comfortable leaving him there. ALL of their staff are just wonderful pet loving people. When I call to make a reservation and mention his name, they refer to him as ""my boy"". I know he get treated wonderful there. Highly recommend this facility!!! more

A Kennel that Loves my Special Dog 5/25/2012

Reasons I love this kennel.... 1. When I call to make my dog an appointment and I say his name they know who I am without asking my information. 2. When I have changed dog food for him they have noticed. 3. When we walk into the kennel they do not have to ask who he is, they know it is Pickle. 4. They allow me to keep the his blankets there and if I did want to bring them home they are always washed and ready to go. 5. I can call and make a reservation for him on the same day. 6. I forgot his allergy medicine on one occasion and I called them and asked them to give him a benadryl once a day. 7. If I change my pick up time to an earlier time it has never been an issue to change his bath time. 8. If I'm flying I get a discount on my parking. I even relocated to Douglasville and still drive ""out of my way"" to board Pickle with them. more

A Kennel That Cares 5/18/2012

I use to take my pet Silas to a Vet Clinic/Kennel in Midtown and always noticed how dirty he was when I returned to pick him up but the last straw with this clinic/kennel is when I left my dog for a week and received a call from the kennel stating my dog had diarrhea and when I gave them the ok to treat it then they called back and said he had an allergic reaction. The kicker was that they charged me over $400 for vet care fees and still charged me for his stay. I dropped my dog off in healthy conditions and should have been picked up the same way. I have not had any issues with Airport Park N Bark. The staff is friendly and they take really good care of my dog. I've talked to other pet owners who utilizes Airport N Bark and have not had any complaints. Keep up the good work. more

Best Home Away from Home 5/18/2011

I travel heavily for work and have been bringing my dog here for years. She loves going and gets very excited as the car nears the kennel. When we arrive, she bolts for the door without a second glance back to me. more

Great place for a doggie vacation 4/12/2011

When we go out of town we always let the dogs stay at their favorite pet resort. We usually spring for the pampered pooch package so they get some extra time outside and can socialize with the other vacationers! They are always warmly greeted by the friendly staff and they even call them by name when they arrive! They people that work there truly seem to enjoy what they do and take really good care of our dogs! more

Great experience 3/17/2011

I've been taking my Bichon to Park N Bark for over 5 years. She runs to their door and loves being there. She gets great care and I never worry about her while she's there. The staff is always friendly, caring and most accommodating to my schedule, which is difficult to find in this business. The location is super convenient and right on the way to the airport. You couldn't ask for more. more

Great experience every time 6/3/2010

I've been bringing my 2 dogs here for boarding for years. i never worry about thier safety while I am traveling. Facility is clean, staff is knowledgeable and courteous and the price is reasonable. I will continue to refer Park N Bark to my friends and co-workers. Pros: Safe and secure/dogs seem happy Cons: If you are not traveling by plane--its a bit out of the way more

Still loves it after 7 years! 4/30/2010

I have been taking my sharpei Luther to Park 'n Bark since 2003. He always gets extremely excited when we pull into the parking lot and I never feel bad about leaving him because he LOVES this place. His tail is wagging and he never looks back. He can't wait to get in back and see those dogs and hang out with his canine crew. They take great care of the dogs, go outside at least 5 times a day, and the staff are always, always friendly--even at 6 am. Plus, you can leave your car down the street. So convenient. Usually sign Luther up for the extra play time, too. When I return to ATL andpick him up and take him home, he spends the next 24 hours sleeping like a log, so I know he was having fun. Going to Park 'n Bark is like going to summer camp for dogs! I highly recommend this place. Pros: convenient hours, friendly staff, lots of tail waggin' more

Pace and Max Loves Park and Bark 3/10/2010

My husband and I love sending our boys to Park and Bark. First, it is so convenient - right on our way to the airport. Too, and most importantly, our dogs love it! They are always happy to go, they LOVE their little suite with the window and are always so clean and rested when we pick them up. I'd recommend this place to anyone. The staff is fantastic and always so, so friendly. more

Pitbull lovers 2/11/2010

I have a lovable gentle giant Pitbull and Airport Park N Bark owners and the staff are just wonderful. Carmelo has been going there for over 3 years. Believe me, we had our share of discrimination because he was a rowdy puppy pit in many other kennels. I always left him with a pain in my heart. But at Park N Bark they love him and he loves them. As soon as I turn that corner to College Street wow he knows it's fun time. We have found his second home. The hours are so convenient and if you travel often the location is great!! Pros: very caring more

Beaux's REAL Home 2/4/2010

Beaux has been a client at Park N Bark for...well, I can't remember how long but for at least 4 years (he's 6 now). Sherri, Jan and the gang are the best and I wish going to the airport every Monday morning was as exciting for me as it is for Beaux. I am treated so well but that's only the's the fact that they ""understand"" my dog and his identity crisis (lab who thinks he's a rottweiler) and make every accommodation for him. The hours and special arrangements they make allow me my crazy flight schedule and allow me to own a pet even if Beaux believes he belongs to them and I just borrow him on weekends! If you want to see pure, unadulterated joy just swing by one Monday morning around 7:00 a.m. and you'll see my Beaux insane with excitement to be there! Pros: Hours, Location, & Service is top notch Cons: My dog likes them better than me :( more

My Yogi loves Park N Bark 2/2/2010

I can call and make an appointment for a dogie bath anytime. They know my pet by name. He is always happy to go and he spends many weekends at this facility. They are MOST accommodating for me and allow a large kennel and plenty of attention while I am gone on long trips. I tell all my friends about Park N Bark and highly recommend it to any one who is leaving their pet for any length of time. It is clean and the people are compassionate and professional. Pros: He gets plenty of outside time. They walk him regularly. more

Home away from home 2/2/2010

We have been taking our dog there for a couple of years. The staff has been friendly and accomodating. My dog is elderly and they have no problem giving him the medicine he needs (at no extra cost) and they don't mind mixing extra food that I bring to go with his regular food. My dog has no problem going with the staff and he seems happy staying there. I feel he gets loving treatment while he is there. Pros: Friendly staff, Hours, Parking discount more

when it counts 1/2/2010

I was disappointed to read the two bad reviews on Airport Park n Bark Pet Resort (PNB). I have been using there service for about four years now and have had nothing less than great service and that is saying a lot considering my dogs. On one occasion one of my dogs had an allergic reaction to a vaccine that he received the day before I boarded him. Not only did PNB staff call me to let me know that something was wrong they rush him to my Vet?s office that was thirty five miles away. They sat with my dog while the Vet looked him over and when my veterinarian recommended that he be taken to Ga. Veterinarian Specialist (GVS) twenty two miles away they offered take him there as well. If it was not for the fast reaction of the staff and management of PNB, the veterinarians at GVS said that my little furry family member would have been dead within 12 hours. I will always grateful for the care they have given my dogs. What matters? My dogs start making circles in the car when I pull into the parking lot of PNB that is what let me know that they are happy to be there. Pros: Truely cares for the animals Cons: only one location more

I got a call at 10:00 am that my dog had been in a ""scuffle"" and that he was ""scratched"". I asked if he needed veterinary attention, and they said no, they just wanted me to know. Okay, fine. But when I got there that evening at 9:30 to pick him up, his front legs were covered in bl00d, his ear was matted with bl00d, and he couldn't walk. The attendant told me that ""he wasn't like that when I put him in his cage!"" When, at 10:00 that morning? I had to take him to an emergency clinic where he got 4 staples in the puncture wounds in his leg. I will NEVER take my dog there again. Pros: Maybe the hours Cons: They made my injured dog sit in his cage all day more

Comfort of Leaving your pet 3/10/2008

I felt very comfortable with leaving my pet with the staff. There seemed ver knowledgeable and he was wagging his tail when I picked him up. Pros: Comfort of leaving my pet in good hands Cons: location on back street more

Scared me away from ever kenneling again. 8/24/2007

I was drawn into this place by its fancy packages talking about how they will cuddle with my dog and have play time and all the other inticing things that make you feel like your dog will be so happy. Well, when I dropped my dog off they gave me a tour, showing me the play area ( a gravely small area that didn't look like very much fun to me) and his cage. They never showed me a chair or anything like that where his cuddling time would be going on, so I'm not too sure I believe that happened. Then I told them I didn't want them to give him a bath before I picked him up because I only like groomers or myself to give him a bath since his hair gets matts if he isn't brushed out right after his baths, and they gave him a bath telling me they needed to because he was so filthy and smelled. The only way he would have smelled is if they were not cleaning out his cage, which is probably why he was fithy too. It wasn't hot outside, I don't feed him wet dog food...nothing. So to top off the whole experience, I gave him a bath myself a few days later and found fleas all over him! I only had 1 dog, he was never around other dogs, and he never had them before I took him there because I check him about once a week. So anyway, now I am in a dilemma because I have to board him again, and I was so mortified by that one experience I don't know if I trust anyone else. Pros: I guess they were friendly...but seemed kind of unorganized. Cons: lots more

Just the best service 12/10/2006

I have been traveling quite often the last year and I was not comfortable with the options I had available to leave my dog. This kennel was the perfect solution. They do not overcharged, you can pick up you dog at anytime and they are loving and caring with my doggie. The fact that they are so close to the airport is a super plus!! I will keep taking my dog there. Pros: Excellent service, nice prices, good dog treatment Cons: I cannot think in any now more
