I've never been to a doctor's office and felt so rushed to get out of the office, and like the doctor didn't care like Dr Guelich. ALso, its been a year, and I still have pain in my ankle worse than before the surgery, with more swelling. After surgery he was happy to say he found my tendon did not need to be repaired, and just the bone needed to be fixed. NOT good. Fixing the tendon was half the reason I had surgery, so it means he misdiagnosed me prior to surgery. I was told I would be running again in 90 days, and I have been unable to run more than 2 miles at a time without pain. I USED to run marathons, and now my career is over unless somehow I can find another doc to fix what he did. One more thing, he DID NOT recommend physical therapy post surgery. I saw two other docs after him, and they both were quite surprised. His nurse in his office was even surprised that he didn't recommend this when she was in an appt with me. When I finally got fed up with his treatment, it was past 90 days, and my insurance charges me $100 to see a specialist. He wouldn't see me again unless I paid another visit. I can;t recommend this doctor for ANYTHING, and am VERY dissatisfied with his performance pre/post op, and bed side manner. I felt that he only wanted to operate on me and make some $$$.
