Adecco is horrid 6/2/2014

This company uses you and slaves you out. They get you excited with the idea of landing a position. They have done nothing but waste my time. They don't even know what they are sending you into. Ha. They found me jobs and couple times only for them to be cancelled or something completely different then what you were intended to do. They do not care as long as you are working to make them more $$ more

do not work here 3/16/2011

Do not work at Addecco. I went there thinking they where a training place for TRW nope they are an employment agency they told me the job pays 10 an hour you work only weekends when needed and you might work a day here and there during the week. but they never said any of that when they called. So I wasted my time and gas for nothing it was an hour and half drive one way and then to sit there to hear their speal. so if I work 16 hours I might bring home 100.00 after taxes for my labor that might pay for my gas and a happy meal. Then you can get benifits if you want to pay up to 100.00 per week so I would have to pay them to work. And no payed holidays or vacations and the company does not hire you on full time.So you are a slave to Addecco. more

Adecco was great! 1/31/2011

I started with Adecco in Sept of 2010 and worked temporary jobs taking any assignment they had. I arrived early and worked as long as they needed me at the assignment. In October 2010 Adecco offered me a temp to perm position with Bank of America making more over $20 an hour with all the overtime one could work and I am now going Perm 2 1/2 month's later. sometimes you have to sacrafice for a short time, to gain the long term success. Temporary staffing is a difficult business and there are more employee's that DON'T show up to their assignments on time or WON'T work a certain job because they feel it is beneath them! A job is a job, especially in the economy. I think Adecco and especially the staff at the Missori Branch is incredible! more

Thanks 11/19/2009

I was on my way to this Adecco Agency and read all of you reviews. Now, thanks to all of you who wrote reviews, I am not going to waste my time. I too have a college education and was told they could find me something. Not going to waste three hours for nothing. Thank you all again. more

Bait and Switch 11/26/2007

I responded to a temp assignment that was supposed to start Dec 2 and go for 2 months. It was supposed to be paying 14.00 an hr. and was supposed to be for the graveyard shift which I was ok with. I went there last Monday, took their tests, filled out the necessary paperwork. Everything was all set up. I even talked to the guy who was heading up this assignment at the company I was supposed to go to. Then later in the afternoon both the guy and Adecco called to say the thing was canceled due to low workload at the company end. Seven of us from Adecco were supposed to be going over there for this. Then Adecco offered me something else which required using my vehicle. I was really excited then I was devastated!!!!! I hate these people for getting my hopes up like this. They don't even deserve a star at all. I hate temp agencies that prey on the desperation of the public. I have totally sworn off temp agencies for good. more

Not good for people with college degrees 4/7/2006

This employment agency is better suited to theneeds of people finding temporary low paying jobs. They donot have much to offer to people with degress or higher qualification. But they don't say that upfront. They make you go through tons of testsand finally say they have nothing matching right now and will contact if they have. Very unproffessional. more

low paying jobs 12/9/2005

went to the this temp agency to look for a job. I had to wait 3 hours taking all these tests. I did well on all the tests, and had even told them before I went that I had a college degree and what I was looking for, I was told that they had a ton of stuff to match my needs. After wasting three hours I was told that they didnt have anything in my field, but they had something that paid ten dollars an hour - I advised them it was too low and I was told I would be put on their list incase anything came up. I feel that they just have people come in and waste their time so that they can meet some sort of quota that they have. I would advise people that want something more then min wage to look on their own more
