Serene A Vegas Resort

This place is a rip off!!!! My daughter planned her 20th birthday party there...paid $400.00 for suite for one night & notified management that there would be approx 30 people. The management knew of this prior and never was it a problem....UNTIL....security deceide to close down the party & kicked them out at 10:15 (12 people were in attendance...there was some drinking but only to the one that were 21 yrs or older) music was not loud and efforts were made to keep the atmosphere low key.....didnt matter....General Manager was arrogant & not willing to comprise a mutual reimbursement.....I was told they had to clean up the room, RIDICULOUS!! we clean up before we left being we were there only 7 hrs, checked in at 3:00 out by 10:15 p.m..I guess Rumor is in the habit of taking kids hard earned money ($400.00) then kicking them out! I would NEVER recommend this ""resort"" to ANYONE!! more

i love love love this hotel we just staid there because we couldnt afford to stay at the hardrock since we were gonna attend a concert there and this is just across the street its off the strip but its still as chic as a top hotel. I love the friendly staff that met us its valet but its worth it u dnt have to pay extra for it either. every thing in the hotel looked brand new and well kept and clean. i will really would come back to stay here again specially in the summer when the pool is open. the room itself was amazing so spacious and decorated so good that i might just decorate my house like it well atleast the colored of the walls i loved it. the bathrooms are so awesome too i love how the lay out of the room n bathroom. i strongly recomend this hotel its cheap and its so pretty, confortable and clean.....clean....clean. more

After a night of partying on the strip, we wanted to have a decent conversation without shouting or losing our voices. The Rumor is off the strip and hidden a bit. What a cute boutique hotel. When you first walk in, you are greeted by front desk (or not). Around the corner is the bar and tucked away further left is their restaurant. The bartender provided us with interesting drinks and they were good. It was refreshing to just talk without shouting. The ambiance is cool and mixed decor. The staff here is nice without being snubby. Good to go. more

There is no other hotel like this one in Vegas. If you like South Beach or Palm Springs, you will be in heaven. The decor is the sexiest in Vegas....hands down. The lounge and restaurant is a perfect gathering spot for cocktails. I didn't get a chance to try the food but the menu looked top notch. In regards to food/beverage, I would recommend you grab some soft drinks from the CVS across the street b/c the vending machine was broken. The maid service did much more than I expected and actually tried to come back multiple times since I was sleeping in. I took pictures of the bathroom because we decided we wanted to rennovate our bathroom at home just like the ones at Rumor. The pool wasn't crowded which was relaxing and the music was exactly what we look for while on vacation (we get sick of hearing the same radio songs over and over....the music reminded me of being at a modern 5 star spa). \r \r I am suggesting this resort to my best friend for her wedding. The courtyard is ideal for a 150 room hotel wedding. We can't wait to go back! \r more
