I am a nurse who worked for this doc for a few months. He has a raging temper, is disorganized, and has so many personal problems that it affected his ability to practice medicine. more

Recently took in my son due to cold symptons. Cost to me was $94 but we got him medicine. Two days later he was no better so they said come back in and they gave us a different medicine. That is fine but now I get charged another $94. Needed a refill on the second medicine and they wanted a 3rd visit. I opted not to...too many $94 visits for same issue. I also caution people to look a the lab fees that they get associated with this office. Appears to be too many at times. Other than the fees, I like the physicians. more

What I like about Dr Adams' practice is that one can request to be seen by the physician solely, if one wishes. Very good experiences with Dr Adams' prescriptions for various conditions and diseases -- very up-to-date on most effective and safest drugs. more

My wife and I both go to this practice and see Tami Link, a nurse practitioner. I have not seen a doctor at any practice I have been to since my pediatrician when I was young, its the new way of the medical world. I am in my 30's so unless somthing major is detected (which the practitioners are fully capable of) I have no need to see the doctor...he should be focusing on people who need his expertise or feel they are to important to see the NP. My wife had a problem with a prescription at a pharmacy on a Friday evening and Dr. Adams called from his cell phone to fix the problem. I just left a message about lab work I recently had done and within an hour recieved a return call. I would highly recommend this practice based on my experience to this point. more

Been going to the office for 4 years, have never even met Dr. Adams. Three different practicioners, you build up a relationship and then they leave. Staff is rude and self-serving. The nurse was chewing gum like a cow. This office only cares about money and has no compassion. People should not go here, much better doctors in the Cary area. more

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Adams for over 10 years. He had my husband checked for prostate cancer which was caught early. Time and again he has taken precautions to keep us all safe and healthy. A wonderful patient rapport - he will spend the time it takes to explain and discuss any and all concerns. This may be why appointments run late, but when he is with you, you are thankful he does take the time. Best doctor we've ever had - his is a family practice, still does hospital rounds with his patients. What else can I say? We're big fans! I have been a patient of Dr. Adams' since I moved here 3 years ago. I have always been very healthy and in better shape than men half my age (just turned 54). I recently had an aortic dissection. This shocked me considering my excellent health all of these years. Needless to say, both Dr. Adams and his staff have been excellent. I have never been on ANY medications, I now have a number of them for daily dosage. You can imagine what this was like for me especially with such things as specialty pharmacies and mail order pharmacies. Dr. Adams and his staff made sure I got through this transition. I have been a patient at this office for years now and I used to see Kathy Kellerman who was AWESOME! She is no longer there, but I have been back since to see some of their other PA's. I recently went last week and had the worst customer service. The nurse who took me back was probably the most rude nurse I have ever had! I will NOT be going back there! What has happened to the doctors who make you feel like an actual person and not just a number?! more

I've been a patient for several years. The practice was very well run and Dr. Adams and his PA's are great. Unfortuntely, they have put in a lot of new business office policies now to save(make?) money that I find difficult to accept. For instance, for insurance reasons, you must schedule one separate appointment for every medical issue. I have high blood pressure. In the past, if I was being seen for an infection, they would also write me a refill for my BP meds if I needed it. Now, they won't even discuss my BP or refill a prescription if I didn't get an appointment for that--you have to schedule multiple appointments. I would be in big trouble if I had multiple medical conditions--I would be in their office all the time. They have also made it impossible to schedule an appointment with Dr. Adams. If you need to be seen within a month, you have to see the physicians assistant. It's so sad to see a previously great practice go downhill like this. more

This practice consist of the most caring staff that I have encountered. I have known Kathy Kellerman P.A. for a long time. She is such an asset to the medical profession. She will go out of her way to do whatever she can to make sure you receive the best care possible. Her expertise in medicine is exceptional. I have not had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Adams, but he must be an outstanding doctor to have Ms. Kellerman on his staff. more

This office is great. My whole family goes to see the practioners there. My daughter and I see the Nurse Practioners there and my mom sees Dr Adams. Some people do not understand that Nurse Practioners see their own patients and the doctor's just review charts and sign off on them. This is not even required. NP can order lab test, prescribe medicines, and diagnosis patients. The staff here is great, always friendly and caring. As I said before I have only seen the NPs there and am thrilled with them. I have never had a problem getting a same day appointment if needed. The providers there spend lots of time with you and make sure that you throughly understand your diagnosis and treatment. They go out of their way to care about you, not all offices do this. They also have addressed more than 1 issue per visit. This is not done at all offices. It does make for a longer wait time to see the providers, but, it is well worth the wait. PROS: Friendly staff, same day appt, Nurse more

The practice tends to be very fast paced. I have only had the chance to meet with the physician assistant or nurse during appointments because the doctors time is filled well in advance. Everyone is very friendly, especially the staff. They are very accepting of last minute appointments if you don't mind a wait. more
