Well, once moving in you are told that it is pretty much sound proof because of the block construction. What you are not told is that your front door and all windows are old and very very thin. Smokey neighbors that decide to sit on their patio, which is right next to your door litterally, sit and talk normally(most of the time unless on cell phone, then it's louder) and you can hear every single word as far back to your dining area. Their smoke comes thru your doors and thin windows, into your apartment. Plus, I hear their t.v./stereo ever since they have moved in. The people I have talked to say it's hard to get your deposit back. I know several, including myself, that have old carpet, mine starting doing that wavey thing after about 5 months. It has to be very old to do that. Landlord only straightened it. My next door neighbor was here 5 years. Her apt flooded and the landlord did not replace the carpet. Hers started waving and it stayed like that for 5 years. Just this month, my other neighbors apt got flooded because the hot water heater above her flooded his and came down to hers. 3 weeks after that, my back neighbors did the same thing. We pay top dollar for a dump. The landlord acts like this is a safe secure place. Well it kinda was 1 year and half ago, but the older safe crowd started moving out. I know 2 more moving out this month. He is letting in the younger crowd, some who smoke dope in the community laundry area. There are so many smokers, they sit out on their stoop and smoke. I don't know what he is thinking or what he is doing. He is ruining this beautiful property. I would not market this place to anyone. I have lived in 6 complexes in Orlando area and never had this much deception. Make your own judgement tho.
Pros: you can hear the birds chirping
Cons: turning into a slum apartment
