I am also a former student of the Academy and I completely disagree with ""Genie"". The education I received was not at all what they promised. Sanitation should be number one on the list of curriculum and instead we were taught to reuse implements that are meant to be thrown away and to work on clients that have a fungus... "" if we turn them away, that's money walking out the door"". Theory is not given on a regular basis nor are the students supervised as they are working on clients. And Genie... have you heard of Pedi Thrones? That's what should really be used in a salon or school. Who cares about the selection of polishes when you are walking out with botched nails because students aren't taught how to properly use nippers and the client ahead of you had a fungus... I think you have bigger things to worry about. And don't get me started on the attitude of the staff... Linda is one of the most condescending people I have ever met. Most students learned quickly to walk on egg shells around them. When the staff is mainly family and they out number the other employees like 5 to 1 its really hard to be heard if you have any concerns. So.... I agree with Brianna! I would never recommend this school to anyone.
Pros: Can't think of any...
Cons: sanitation, education, attitude, greed!
