I was very excited to finally take the leap and learn to drive. The ABC driving school website looked professional and inviting. So I was a bit stunned after calling and encountering quite possibly the rudest man in Philadelphia (ok, maybe not the rudest, but certainly in the top 10). I called to inquire about their rates. He said it would be ""wasting his time"" to give me rates until I got my permit. I asked for a ball park figure so I could get an idea of what would be required. He refused. It is not only the refusal to give a rate that was frustrating, it was how he spoke to me. Sadly I'm not a writer so I can't fully capture his tone in this review. Needless to say, it was condescending and rude enough for me to take the time to write this and warn others. Despite the fact I completely disagree with his policy of not giving rates without a permit in hand, he could have easily conveyed this without being disrespectful and just plain rude. By the way, this was clearly not a phone rep. I'd be willing to bet he is the owner or one of the teachers. I'm thoroughly confused why he thought he could speak to me that way and assume I would call when I did get my permit. They say they've been in business for 16years. Clearly they haven't learned the basics of customer service. There are too many other choices in the city.
Cons: Rude, Will not give rates
