Not if you want to watch the movie 8/21/2005

This place is nuts. We saw a horror flick here recently and I can say I saw and heard more of the audience than I did the movie. First, you're in a cave underneath Union Station in the food court. Then the light go down and the hooping and hollering starts. It could be fun to go here for a certain kind of movie where plot is not important, or if you've seen it already. Otherwise I would avoid it. more

By far the most ghetto movie theatre in DC 6/24/2005

Union Station is, by far, the most ghetto mainstream movie theatre in the District and should be visited only for special movies such as Freddie vs. Jason; the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, or any or the horror flicks where audience participation only serves to enhance comedic value and the overall viewing experience. Should you desire to watch a movie in silence, opt for one of the other theatres such as Loews in Georgetown or the new Regal in Gallery Place and avoid Union Station like the plague. more
