AMC 20 in Fullerton 4/16/2006

The seats are comfortable and the screens are large enough that no one will complain about not being able to see. AMC does offer student discounts (unlike Regal) which, while still being a bit pricey, make seeing movies more reasonable. I haven't seen anything particularly good or bad about the staff there, but that doesn't work against the place. AMC provides a decent experience for seeing a movie, but not much else. more

AMC Movie Theatre 4/2/2006

The AMC 20 is found conveniently in Fullerton, CA. It is located in a plaza that includes an In n Out, Costco, and Toys R Us. Recently I went there to go see the movie ICE AGE 2. This movie theatre is especially comfortable. The theatres there are large and some seats are even reclinable (to a certain extent). There is also lots of leg room. However, pricing is a bit high as adult admission is about $9. It's a good place to go if you are getting your tires changed at the Costco garage next door. more

  • In Short
In 1920, Edward Durwood opened a single-screen picture house in Kansas City, Mo. Over the next 40 years, his company went on to pioneer the use of four- and six-screen theaters. In 1969, the company incorporated as American Multi-Cinema Inc. in honor of its signature multiplexes. Now, the company is known for theaters with 14 or more screens, as well as innovations such as armrests with built-in cup holders, stadium seating with LoveSeats, ATM-style ticketing and online ticket purchasing.
