Definitly Returning 2/22/2012

I called for a quote on getting a stereo for my Jeep, and the sales guy was so helpful and had me come in for an appt like right away. After I got there I was able to wait and they had couches and TV so I was comfortable and time flew. After they were done they pulled the car around and gave me a run down on the deck and showed me how to program it and answered all the questions that I had. I will be returning soon to have my tint redone and a detail. more

I've been dealing with Dan for my car stereo installs for as long as I can remember - 10 cars minimum. He's arguably the city's leading authority on technology, what works with what, and install methods. When he started working at Extreme, I followed him there as I like to go with what I know. From my first interaction with Lee and Pablo around 6 or 7 years ago, I've felt like nothing shy of their best customer. I think they make everyone feel that way. They've applied the paint protection film to my new Jeep and have had their hands in 4 or 5 different stereo installs - all done perfectly. They listen to what you want - I am to the point that I can just drop off my Jeep saying, "I need it loud so I can hear with the top off" and they give it back sounding loud as hell, looking great, and at a price that was less than what I was expecting. I'm taking my Jeep back this week to have the roll cage pads and interior trim replaced with something that will look a little nicer. They'r more

Good service 11/24/2010

I took my vehicle for a window tint, new touch screen radio and an alarm system. The work was absolutely great, they were very careful with my car, I am an extremely picky and complicated person when it comes to my car. They were able to answer all my questions and explain everything how it would be done. I got my car back on time like they said and everything looked good, they listen to every detail you say. When I went to use the dvd player it was not working right, something needed to be set, when i took it back they had to take out the radio to reset it and everthing worked fine. When they gave me the car back the dash board was a little scratched, most people wouldnt notice it, kinda looked like maybe the gentlemen working on it was a litte in a hurry, not too happy about that even though one of the managers said they will have that fixed for me. I will give them another try for my next installation. I still recommend extreme for any installation. more

Got my windows tinted on my mustang for 190 dollars with a lifetime warranty and looks great next thing I'm doing is hooking up my subs and amp and I will for sure be going to them for installation more

Extreme always does a great job. I have had windows tinted, alarms, remote car starters custom wiring work and detailing done there. Tint & Special Work 4/7/2010

2006 Mazdaspeed6. I went in looking for tint and an iPod install. While the tint was straight forward, I was told they did not have an iPod adapter for my car. I did some research ahead of time on adapters for my car and knew they were available. They said bring the information in and we'll work it out. I did the tint (it looks beautiful and they got done early). I went back for a windshield tint and some extra work, including the iPod adapter. This was with pieces I bought. They did a great job on the install. The radar detector hardwire, LED lights install, and the iPod adapter look great. A little aloof at the beginning, but they warmed up. They were professional. I will be getting other work there again. Maybe a custom stereo. more

Horrible Service 3/31/2010

My wife called to get an estimate to get my car detailed and was told a price of 99 bucks and made an appointment with a quoted time of 2-3 hours. We dropped the car off on time and told they were very busy so it might be closer to 3 hours. No problem... I had some errands to run. So I show up four hours later and they have not even started on my car. They give me a little rental car for free and promise they will have to done by the time I come to pick up tomorrow after work. The next day I show up and they say its only 25% done and they will call me when its done. They call me at a little after 7:30 at night (keep in mind they close at 8) and asked if I needed my car tonight because it still wasnt done. The next day after work I come to get my car and finally after three days my 2-3 hour job was done. I will never frequent this business again and would not recommend this place to anyone. If they can't handle a job this simple I doubt they could perform a more intricate task. more

Great Business 3/16/2010

I went in to have a 6-speaker system installed. They made an appointment for the next day and gave me an estimate. I called around and compared it to other prices and it was the best deal. As a first-time customer I was skeptical but it was completed within the 2 hour time slot and worked well. My passenger door handle wasn't working when I got my car back so I called them and they had me come back when I had the time. They fixed it on the spot and were very sorry for the inconvenience. They're great with customer service and a big bonus is that they will swap out my new speakers and put back the old ones if I decide to change cars. A great business! more

I was in the market for a car starter for my ES330 and my dealer recommended Extreme. I went there, got an estimate, and didn?t buy the first day. I studied the reviews online and found mostly positive reviews. I went back and asked questions I had after reading the reviews. I made appointments for the install in both our cars. They completed the installs promptly on both appointments - flawless - very clean install. While there with the wife?s car they noticed where she rubbed the bollard at the gas station. I was introduced to Mike from the Paint & Body side of the shop. Mike gave me an estimate and like before I made no commitment ? I?m not an impulse buyer. We got other estimates and found the Extreme estimate was very competitive. A week later I booked for the repairs. When I dropped the car off I met Pablo, the owner, and quickly learned he is quite proud of his business and his staff. Quality and Experienced Staff 1/27/2010

I've been driving BMW 5ers since 1980 and I've been a customer of Extreme Audio for about 3 years. Pablo runs a great shop and takes great pride in being able to offer a full range of custom services to his clients done with great attention to detail. I am a demanding customer who has found my expectations well addressed by Pablo's professional staff led by Eric and Lee. While I have had an iPod conversion and XM Satellite installations done that work done by Extreme retained the OEM appearance of my Bimmer. I have most recently had a VPS film installation done on the front air dam. It was custom cut and installed flawlessly. Now my air dam is protected from the fine grit that threatens the finish on the front of my car. I highly recommend doing this on any vehicle in which you wish to preserve the finish. However, the work demands the knowledge and experience provided by the highest quality installers available to you at Extreme. Do yourself a BIG favor.....don't settle for le more

Rip-off 11/18/2009

I heard the radio adds for the 150 installed remote start and thought I would give them a try. I knew better than to think it was going to be 150 but after calling the price jumped to 296 for an 08 chevy truck. I was assured that was the final price and it was comptative, I called around and found it installed for 285 from the dealership but the appt was already made at Extreme Car Audio. For $10 I was just going to keep the appt. The day I went to drop off my truck, the price jumped again to 323 - I took my truck to the dealership. more

i purchased and had installed a pioneer deck through extreme car audio. they did a great job of installation and the deck works amazing! this past week it randomly stopped working. i called in, and they set me up with an appointment for yesterday evening and they swapped it out with no charge to me. all is well. more

Even though Extreme Car Audio is very pricey they do good quality work that makes it work your every dollar at the end...They never leave you until your happy and they back up every product they have...Plus they dont usually sell everything by the price tag they're good about cutting you a deal more

I had an amp kit run in my 2008 Saab by Extreme Car Audio. The installation work was clean even though it took longer then they told me it would. I would rather it take longer and have them get it right then the other way. more

Poor wiring. 4/25/2008

I took my Ford Taurus in to install a new stereo system. I've taken it in twice and the stereo still buzzes every time I turn on my headlights. In addition, the equipment used to fit the stereo into my car makes my airbag sensor turn on. It would have been nice to know this would happen before hand. I would take it in again, the warranty is good but I think I'll try somewhere else first. more

nice shop poor instal 1/11/2008

took my 2006 ford super duty in to extreme originaly had and alpine deck alpine speakers and jl amp. i was not happy with the alpine head unit so i got a touch screen pioneer put in and i loved it after about 4 months of driving my truck the passenger door tweeter popped out twice revealing to me that they used butt connectors to make the connections. the original reason that i sent it in was because going down the road i couldn't hear the radio. and after several thousand dollars it was no better, so i took it somewhere else and found out that one of the speakers was wired reverse and they never tightened down the rear seat bolts down all the way, because the power lead was run under the seat frame. also the reverse camera and radar jammer wires run underneath were run in the frame no loom or protection just bare wire and they were zip tied through frame holed where they would have rubbed through . moral of the story nice building nice people doesnt mean they know how to install more
