I'm a Wash U alum, and I've been going here since my sophomore year. They used to have a branch on the 40, but high prices and negative word of mouth sunk that. I gave them a try a little after that (I was in a bit of a rush) and they definitely weren't bad, especially with the student discount. I've been going there for the past four years. Rich (the owner) is a nice guy - just give the place a chance, you won't be disappointed. more

A cut UNDER the rest May 14, 2006 3:30 PM PST This is a hair salon I would definitely not going back to. The employees can be very rude and aggressive, specially if you are a tourist or a WASHU student. I got some scares in my skin that can prove that. A cut NOT above the rest 8/31/2005

This is a hair salon i would definitely not going back to. As a WU undergrad student, i went there and its satelite location on WU dorm property(South 40). I really have to advise those who are thinking about trying it out to not go there and find some other hair salon. Twice my hair was ruined. I asked for a trim. They cut off 2-3 inches. Sides were uneven too. Definitely not worth the $$. They charge regular salon price too. ya, it is very close to WU campus. but if u have a car or a nice friend who would drive u... go somewhere else. more
