I highly recommend Dave! I went in to see him a few weeks after dealing with Best Buy. I spent over $200 and didn't have a computer for over a week just trying to get a virus off....

Honest and good service! 5/19/2011

I highly recommend Dave! I went in to see him a few weeks after dealing with Best Buy. I spent over $200 and didn't have a computer for over a week just trying to get a virus off. At the end Best Buy claimed they fixed it but really it was just as screwed up as before I took it to them. I took it back to Best Buy but they would not help me without charging me even more money. So I tried to live with it but then all of a sudden it wouldn't turn on anymore. Dave took my laptop and in less than 24 hours later notified me that my motherboard was bad. Dave was honest with me and told me what he honestly thought I should do, not what would make him the most money. Dave ended up giving me diagnosis at an extremely discounted price and recommended that I buy a new computer. At my request I asked him to give me a quote on how much it would cost me if he were to replace the motherboard. He gave me the quote as I requested but was honest with me and said that he thought it would be a waste of my more

My experience with Dave and company were very positive. When I arrived my laptop was held hostage by a computer virus. Dave 'cured' the virus - installed anti-spyware, anti-virus and maleware programs and most importantly patiently explained how to use them. He's knowledgeable, friendly and patient. I would highly recommend his services. more

Unfortunately, I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT utilize the services of A Computer Repair Shoppe.\r I took my laptop to Dave earlier this year, and his shoppe was broken into one evening. My $800.00 laptop was stolen along with other computers. Dave did NOT carry insurance for this type of situation. \r I asked Dave if he had any type of customer plan in dealing with this theft and he said, "No. If you look on your receipt when droping off the computer, it says Not responsible for losses due to theft or vandalism."\r OK, Dave...you are right...it does say that on there. How could you run a business dealing with thousands of dollars of OTHER people's computers and such? Are you not ashamed of yourself? Could you not, at the very least, offer to pay a portion of a replacement computer for those of us who experienced this theft from YOUR establishment?\r You have left me with only one course of action Dave. Filing a small claims suit against you and your business might draw your a more

I was locked out of my computer, and Dave found a way to reopen it without any loss of data...thanks Dave to you and your son...If you are in Atlanta, Dave is the man to see for your computer problems. Dave helped install the first online banking system in 1968 and is still going strong. I love that he is very sensitive to people's need to protect what is on their computers. When other techs might choose to master restore a hard drive when problems occur, Dave will help you find a way to fix your computer without losing your data. And Dave is sensitive to your desire to save money, also. Simply, Dave is the man to see in Atlanta for computer advice, upgrades, and repairs of all types...This is a one man shop, and Dave does not do house calls, but the reward of a trip to A Computer Repair Service is well worth the effort of the drive. A Computer Repair is located just off I-75 North of Atlanta exit 63 near the intersection of hwy 120. Call for directions. Diagnostic exam is free more

When I wanted to upgrade my computer I called around and found A Computer Repair to be very helpful. They were very knowledgeable and were able to walk me through my upgrade options explaining everything to me, as I know nothing about computer performance. When I was ready to upgrade they gave me a great price and the turn around time was very quick. more
