The EPITOME of Professional, Quality Work 3/1/2012

I usually use reviews to alert others to bad service, but had to respond because my experience here has been the only area in my life without hassle or stress, so I think after 20+ years, I can give a public THANKS JOE and LYNN!! more

hustlers at work 2/22/2012

I own a 2002 Nissan altima and took it for a tune up job. After opening the hood I was quoted ridiculous price of$1050.00.I started my car and drove away and was stopped by the manager on the street , a rude bald head guy who made the price before, to have the job done by him'' on the side'' for $750.00 , but had to take the car to queens jamaica. I felt like puking on him and drove away. any one using this comp be careful u might be over charged or hustlers looking to get you for a side job.I would not let an immoral person touch my car. more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY 1/13/2012

They are the worst!!! They want you to replace everything and at the highest price possible. Went to get an oil change and they charged me $135. $97 of it was labor!!!! Not trust worthy and extrememly rude. Do your self the favor and drive up another 10 blocks and pay $50 for a better job. more

Not cheap, not perfect 4/11/2010

They got the job done - after replacing almost everything. If you've got a few thousand dollars to spare, this place is for you. At least, you'll be treated by professionals. Pros: Friendly, serious people Cons: Always busy, not very good at staying within budget more

I trust them 12/17/2009

I have had my 1997 Volvo S70 serviced by A & A for at least 10 years when I finally stopped using the other repair shop that is not around any longer. A & A is staffed with respectful and knowledgable people. They tell me what it is and then they do it. Could be a tad cheaper but I don't mind paying for quality service. I don't normally write these types of reviews but reading the one prior to mine prompted me to share. I have been a customer for 10 years. Nuff said. Pros: Experience and Knowledge Cons: Can't think of one more

AVOID A&A Motors Like The PLAGUE! 3/28/2008

I had my Nissan Pathfinder towed to A&A Imported Motors because it wouldn't start one morning and this place was right nearby. What a mistake! When the smoke cleared, I was fleeced to the tune of $1,300+. When I asked the woman in the office for a breakdown, she became rude and impatient - interrupting me, shouting, etc. I later learned that the problem was a minor wiring issue that could have been fixed for less than $150, but apparently, the characters at A&A saw a female with a disabled vehicle who didn't have a clue about cars and decided to have a field day with me. They of course proceeded to find all sorts of other things ""wrong"" with my car - which was strange, because nothing else was wrong with it prior to this. I take my car in to the Nissan dealership regularly under its scheduled maintenance warranty, so any major problems would have been brought to my attention there during routine servicing. A&A Motors simply took advantage of me because my car was disabled, and in order to get it back, I was forced to take their word and pay them whatever they wanted. I guess I should feel lucky that they didn't charge me twice that amount. Pros: A good place to throw money away. Cons: Sloppy mechanics, overpriced ""repairs""; NASTY ""customer service"" more

WAY better than Martin's Volvo 10/27/2005

These guys are nice, thoughtful, intelligent, do excellent work and are in a location close to public transportation. Do not go to the dealer in Manhattan if you drive a Volvo. Go here. Pros: clean shop, very smart staff, good customer service more
