24 Hour Fitness

I don't swim or use the showers, but I really like this 24 Hour Fitness. I've been to other ones and they are usually crowded and over-subscribed. There is plenty of space between machines here and lots of equipment like free weights, medicine balls and exercise balls. I've never had to wait for a machine or felt like someone was in my space. I worked with a trainer, who was great, and have enjoyed the classes. more

I joined 24 hour fitness after leaving Club One due to increased membership dues. I have been at 24 Hour Fitness for 2 months now and can honestly say it is the worst gym I have ever been to. I will gladly go back to Club One and pay the higher price. 24 Hour Fitness on Ocean Avenue is filthy, parking sucks, and the pool area is a joke. The men's locker room stinks, the shower heads are not working properly, the soap dispensers usually don't work and the covers are usually on the floor because they are broken. I have witnessed guys spitting on the ground in the pool area and women bringing beach baskets into the steam room and sauna applying all kinds of products like they are at home. There was even a woman who brought a fold- up chair and set it up on the side of the jacuzzi. The last thing I want to hear while I am trying to relax in the jacuzzi is " Have you found Jesus"? , from the guy behind me. Save it for another time! I have had enough and will leave 24 Hour Fitness ASAP! more

a no frill work out place for the truly dedicated. i was a member of pinacle which is a nice gym but a bit more expensive. 24 hours is cheap, plenty locations to choose from and is cheap. some gyms are better stocked than others but you can't beat the locations. they're everywhere..including in the las vegas airport. so depending on your membership there are alot of locations to choose from. more

I am a member of 24 hour fitness and I personally do not like this specific location. The people here are rude and unfriendly. They never help you with anything. Anytime you ask for something, they make i seem like its a big inconvienence. And the gym is not kept clean. Everything is so dingy. That is why I left this specific gym and go to teh one in Daly City. Their service is excellent and very well maintained. So don't judge all 24 hour fitness by one bad apple. Check out other locations. more

I have to say that personalized program at 24 Hour Fitness was not boring like most other programs that I have done. There were varied exercises each day of te week so I never got bored with the same routine. Also the exercises were things that I had never done before. I could see results in a short period of time. I would recomend this program to anybody looking to get lean and strong... more

Ocean 24 has the worst customer services. They say anything to get you to join. They "guarantee" or "promise" this and that, but later deny it. After you join, you are considered last priority. There's no one there to teach or train you; you are on your own. A lot of their equipments are broken down or dirty with sweat. However, some of the workers are pretty friendly and outgoing. If you do decide to go to a 24, I suggest you get a guest/trial pass first. Also, you can get a pretty good deal if you know how to haggle with them. more
