We called Dr Hassan and set an appointment to have our wonderful dog of 13 years euthanized in our home. Our dog was in pain as was our family. His staff told us that they can only do it after 6pm and after a few questions they quoted us a rate of $185 for the euthanasia and another $80 to have the dog removed. More would be required if we wanted the ashes. We agreed and began arranging the events for our dogs last day. The Dr's office called us two days before our scheduled appointment to confirm, and all was a go. TWO HOURS before he was to come over to put her down they called me and said that the price they quoted me was wrong and it was to be $90 more. This brings the cos to $275 plus the $80 to have her removed. We can't afford the additional money. I asked if they would honor the price they originally quoted me. She talked to Dr Hassan and he said he cannot do it for that price. HOW COLD CAN YOU BE! I didn't make the mistake! My family was all together to say goodbye to our dog more

This son of a b!tch refused to see a dog two good samaritans rushed to the hospital, after watching it get hit by a car and left for dead, without first seeing an $80 fee. A friend of mine offered to pay the $80 fee after witnessing this heartless behavior. This would have been pointless, though, because that fee includes absolutely no treatment. Makes you really think why this Armani jean wearing, 7-series Beamer driving mother fuckr is in the industry of "caring" for defenseless animals.\r \r Trusting him with your pet would be the most reckless, irresponsible thing you could ever do.\r \r ...And this is forcing me to give at least one star. more

I been there many times. The hospital and staff is great. They really know what they doing. They are by far the most affordable emergency hospital in town. The doctor is very kind and works with clients all the time when they can not afford treatment. One time this old lady comes in with food for Dr. Hassan because he refused to charge her for treatment. May be I should do the same sometime. \r I will always go there... more

My cat, Fred was attacked by a large dog. I took him to our regulare vet. who we had known for years, and was sent home with antibiotics. A few days later, I discovered Fred had a hernia, so I took him to the Emergency Pet Hospital where Dr. Hassan performed surgery and discovered that Fred had a severely damaged intestine. I know Fred would have died without Dr. Hassan and his experienced, well-trained staff. A few months later, our small dog lost a significant amount of weight. Again, our routine vet diagnosed an infection, prescribed antibiotics and sent him home. After he continued to decline and lose weight, I took him to Dr. Hassan who, using state -of- the -art digital X-ray technology was able to find a palm seed the dog had swallowed and had become lodged in his intestine. He performed surgery in the middle of the night, and kept Chandler there for several days as he recovered. Both of our animals received excellent, loving care by a professional staff while there. We were welcomed as we came to visit each night during their recovery, and always given friendly updates when we inquired about them by phone. I highly recommend this facility.
