Jerry's Auto Repair is staffed by some very nice people, and their location is very nice and professional. However, my personal experience with their work left me somewhat unsatisfied.
Note: I recently modified this review in response to a courteous comment left by Jerry. I had originally referred to the work done at Jerry's as shoddy. In retrospect, I believe that was an unfair comment. My particular experience was from years ago and involved some relatively expensive work that did not resolve my problems on my first visit. To be fair to Jerry's, they were able to clear up the problems after I returned my car to their shop. On both visits their staff was courteous and friendly.

Excellent Service and Workmanship
The Les Schwab in Pullman is one of the few quality automotive service locations in the area. The prices seem reasonable, and the service is excellent. I've never had any trouble with their work.

I couldn't believe the glut of pro Slashdot reviews on this site, so I decided to offer some balance. Slashdot occasionally offers some news items of interest that can't be found else where, but the vast majority of the time it is comprised primarily of rehashed news from various other sites. That is not in its self a bad thing, but the actual content on Slashdot rarely contains much more than a link to the real news story.
In my experience a good RSS news aggregator set to watch various technology sites is better at keeping me informed.

Bloglines is a great way to keep tabs on all of your favorite RSS feeds where ever you go. I never go directly to news websites any more, but rather read all of my news from many different sources directly through Bloglines. I also use it to keep tabs on the reviews my friends and family make on Judy's Book.
I've tried Google's RSS reader, and it is a decent competitor, but it just didn't suit my needs. Google makes it hard for you to group your news feeds. It pretty much clumps them all together with no organization. Bloglines makes it easy to read your news in any order you want, which is important when you only have time to read a few items.

Let me start by saying that I HATE MySpace for ruining what could have been the best thing to happen to the web. I have no problem with why most people love it. I think the idea of a site where you can post a little about yourself, and keep in touch with friends is a great idea. I just can't believe that of the thousands of sites out there that offer this MySpace is the one that caught on. It certainly wasn't the first one out there.
MySpace is ugly and completely uninspired. It takes social networking which is a great concept, and mixes it with everything that was horrible about mid 90's personal homepages (when everyone thought they were a web designer). The first time I saw it I thought to myself, "Well thank God that modern browsers don't support the blink tag."
So, to summarize, I understand why people love MySpace, and they aren't wrong for it. I just despise MySpace for being the worst implementation of social networking I have ever seen. Why oh why, did people pick MySpace?

When ever life gets me down, I crack out this old stand-by and read a few pages from my favorite tome. The Rand McNally 1999 Road Atlas is as informative as it is sublime. Do you wish you were somewhere else? Well at least you can find some directions on how to get there.
With the likes of Google maps and in dash navigation systems, a road atlas just isn't very useful anymore. But no matter, utility was never what drew me to this work. Broaden your horizons and read this classic.
