For you more daring people which I am not there is the Molokini Crater
The Molokini Crater is a massive water thrill ride, resembling a 60-foot funnel. Guests board a 4-person, cloverleaf-shaped raft 75 feet in the air. Shoot down a long tunnel, spinning back and forth, side to side, before dumping into the 60-foot diameter funnel! Finally, glide through a waterfall and splash down in the pool below!
For the little guys, the handicapped and us old folks in general there is Starfish Cove.
Starfish Cove is a shallow island complete with giant crabs, spouting whales, miniature slides, and some funny spitting fish! Surrounded by deck chairs and umbrellas, the Cove is a perfect place for a nap in the sun. It's an underwater world, topside!

I always make sure I have my favorite sunscreen,http://www.judysbook.com/members/39208/posts/2006/7/403744/ as well as my polarized sunglasses and what ever book I am reading at the time. You see I'm not a big water park person but I can always carry everyone else's stuff while they are on a

I just purchased a new pair of weight training gloves with part of my contest prize gift card from Target. I have gone through 2 other pair since I've been working out in the last 13 years and for me they are a necessity. The ones I bought are made by Prospirit Athletic Gear. They are black and red with a variety of materials used for comfort. The backs and fingers are made of absorbent terrycloth with a nylon backing for durability. There is a nylon mesh that covers part of the back of the hand to give a good fit. The palm is padded red suede. This padding makes lifting weights more comfortable. Weight lifting gloves have the fingers cut back to between the second and large knuckle. These are similar to my last pair which lasted me nearly 5 years. At 7.99 that doesn't boil down to much a year for the type of protection they afford. I have worn them a couple of times and find them very comfortable. They have an adjustable velcro strap to keep them secure.

When needing some work on my old sewing machine, I went to Shield's Sewing Center in the Sycamore Mall in Iowa City. They were able to get me a new foot pedal that would work with my old machine at a small fraction of the cost of going to the Viking Center. I had not wanted to have to buy a new machine as my sewing is limited these days, but if I were in the market I would certainly go here. They sell and service a variety of sewing machine brands. My daughter went there to get a new Simplicity sewing machine and was very happy with the sales staff. The 40 years of experience in the sewing machine business shows in the staff's knowledge of machines and repair issues. They also stock replacement parts and accessories for sewing machines. The staff carried my heavy old machine to and from my vehicle when I had them service it. This kind of service ethis is important in an age when so much of that has been lost to businesses.
Their location in the Sycamore Mall makes them easy to find and you will always have parking available. If you are looking for good slaes and service in the sewing machine world this business is sew right for you.

I had the chance to visit Farichild Gardens near Miami a couple of years ago. I was enthralled by the beauty of these gardens. Being from the north most of the flora was competely new to me. I could have spent longer there as I was taking time to read about each and every speciman.
Even though they had been hit by hurricanes they seem to survive and grow up more beautiful than ever. I took a whole role of film amd shared it with my second graders in a large poster of mounted pictures. All pictures were numberd and I developed a worksheet so they could answer 7 questions about various things in the pictures and draw their own picture of their favorite plant. This is the kind of opportunity Fairchild Gardens offers for visitors. Of course Flat Randy was there with me.

I have always found them to be helpful in whatever my office needs were. I recently was having trouble with my cordless phone and had asked in both Best Buy and Staples about potential problems. They really wanted to sell me a new phone. The employee at Office Depot asked some good question. I had the phone with me and he thought it would be worth it to put in a new battery. The batteries cost from 15.00 on up and I didn't want to spend that and find out it wasn't the problem. He said to buy the battery(which he put in for me) and try in at home and I could return it within a week if it did not take care of my problem. I'm indebted to him because it was what I needed. Evidently the previous battery had not been a good one because it wasn't very old. I had purchased that one at Best Buy. Lesson learned.
Office Depot also has a good selection of office furniture and that is where I got my office chair. Their computers and printers were a mystery to me but with their help I got a printer that worked with the computer that I already had. They also have a full line of accessories for the office.
Even though it is the most distant office supply store in our area I go there because of the helpful emplyees.

I recently gave this business a 4 star rating because I've had good service there for 22 years. Well, times have changed. In the past if I couldn't start my car they send someone to my home to jump start it. I was told yesterday when I had battery problems that if my car wouldn't start this morning when I was to take it in for a new battery to give them a call. It wouldn't start so I called them and was told they don't go to people's cars and I should call a towing service. I guess years of loyalty to this business doesn't count since the owner's son has taken over.
Yes, I could call a towing service and I have, but it won't be to take my car to Iowa City Tire. This treatment of a longtime customer has left a bad taste in my mouth.
You know what they say about word of mouth advertising? Well in this case it isn't something good coming out of my mouth.
I will let you know how I fare with Dusty's Tires and Service.
