It's all about the crust
Review of: Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
Wow. The crust makes this pizza. It's worth the long wait for the deep dish. I wouldn't mind seeing more of a range of topping options, but all in all, Lou Malnati's still serves up one of the best pizzas in town.

Good lunch spot, but so-so for dinner
Review of: Keefer's Restaurant
I used to work near Keefers and I think it's the perfect spot for a nice business lunch. The windows make it feel very open and light. The menu is extensive and tasty.
However, I've also been there a few times for dinner, and the wait staff always seems quite frazzled the minute there is a bit of a rush. If the waiters took a minute to connect with the diners, I think this place could really make a name for itself.- Posted on 4/3/2006

Underrated!!
Review of: Erwin
Erwin's is a great place for an upscale dinner, without the touristy fanfare of downtown Chicago. The best part about this place is the brunch. With so many decent "diners" in the city, I don't always think it's worth the money for a nice brunch, but this place sure is.
Also, if you get there before 7:00 on a weekend, don't bother paying for valet. Take the 5 minutes to look for a parking spot on the street. They are generally pretty easy to find.
